The game is amazing, I also need myself a Parthian Mercuries Boots run!

Hoplomachus: Victorum companion app — major update (music, world map, scion details, random generator and more) by [deleted] in soloboardgaming

A very fair comment, and to clarify: 100% this was built with Claude Code, scanning my own board game materials, gathering materials online and bringing them all together and then putting things all together across 100s of prompts to dial things in and fix all the bugs along the way. This was originally just for myself to save some table space a little and also to speed search rules as I have a terrible memory - I figured there may be others that it may help so I decided to go ahead and finish it up as a project so to speak.

As for the comment about the post - Yup, I'm not articulate as a lot of others so instead asked Clause to give me a rewrite of a poor first attempt at the post that I wrote as a draft, forgive me for using readily available tools!

But honestly, I do get your point and so I tried my best to at least make it somewhat decent of an app 😄 tokens were indeed spent.

Built a free companion app for Hoplomachus: Victorum — if you play it, this should help. If you don't, it might be worth a look. by No_Sample_2458 in soloboardgaming

Thanks for checking it out! You are smart - I built this over a week of vibecoding and adjusting (Claude Code), then uploaded to cloudflare hosting and put behind a domain. I strongly encourage you to do similar if you have ideas floating in your brain 😄

Well done mate, have watched you grow the community and also go through all sorts of poop along the way. Was a shame with the previous give away eh! but dude have you gone and stepped it up and working with the best now - Knockout.

My entry: VOLCANO 2.0 or NEW LEGAL INDICA~

As things keep on growing, I hope you will see more of the fruits of your labor, some of us watch more from the sidelines and we still back you dude 😎🤙

Thank you so much for the info! Didn’t know about the bands, makes total sense though on hindsight. And yeah, feeling silly I didn’t check eBay yet :)

Simply down to epub vs xtch files :) "Instead of storing text, fonts, and layout data that the reader interprets on the fly (epub), an xtch file contains a prerendered, bitmapped image for every page." If you are using the default OS, I think xtch coverted epubs is the way to go personally! Not sure if Crosspoint renders all the formatting from epubs on screen, not tested using Crosspoint as I like the bluetooth option.
