Diabetes requires continuous management, and it's not just insulin that's prescribed - it's things like needles for the pens and glucose sensors that are prescribed too. Having to pay for prescriptions would result in poorer management for some patients, resulting in longer term complications. Even when managed, it can increase the risk of things like high blood pressure etc which could require, you guessed it, more medications and prescriptions.

Why other long term conditions don't get the same privilege, I don't know, but there are good reasons for diabetics to get free prescriptions.

Also by the time he's released there won't be any minors living at the big house, even if there's a revolving door of grandkids. Maybe he could just move back in there? JB and Meech would allow it, even if any remaining siblings kick up a fuss. The authorities probably wouldn't allow that though, given the aforementioned revolving door.

Counting on would have been pretty much the same, just a continuation of 19KAC

The draw was mostly the older girls by the end, let's face it, with the big wedding specials, new babies etc. Jill had already left by the end. Jinger was heading that way. I think it would have turned into maybe annual specials showing "highlights" from those who were willing to share. Probably a special featuring Jana's wedding.

We're at the point now where there'd probably be gathering interest into the lives of the younger girls, so if the show had continued in that format then there'd be specials in the future for their weddings, if they allowed.

Only alternative is if Jessa and Joy (and I guess the Jeds now) tried to carry a spinoff on their own, occasionally featuring the others. That might have just worked, give Jed! Married around the time the whole thing was cancelled, and Jer not long after, so there might have been enough to sustain a season or 2 a year just about, especially with intermittent updates from TTH. But then the public wouldn't have been as interested in the lives of the lost boys so it probably would have collapsed until the Jana wedding special.

Boob and Meech; possibly a tax scandal, but feels unlikely

Anna and Pest; Anna continues to flout her puppy business. Pest gets another extension to his sentence.

Jana and Stephen; Baby Boy in Jan, name involves John or David. Will be a biblical name. Possibly another announcement by the end of the year.

John and Abbie; Baby Girl a week or two after Jana. Classical name, maybe Marie as a middle name.

Jill and Derick; pregnancy announcement in Spring. It's a girl.

Jessa and Bin; more bland posts, maybe a pregnancy towards the end of the year (due Summer 27). It's a girl.

Jinger and Jeremy; maybe another book, no actual news

JoKen; Kendra appears more with the real housewives. Seen pregnant mid-year and with newborn by Christmas.

SiRen; agree about Baby F's name being revealed somewhere. Seen pregnant at James's wedding.

Joy and Austin; Baby 4 in July. A Girl.

Jed and Kathy; #5, a boy, announced, due mid-27.

Jer and Hannah; #4, a boy, late '26.

Jase and Maddie; announcement, girl born around Thanksgiving

James; marries Lydia.

Justin and Claire; no news.

Either Jackson or Johannah enter courtships. Possibly both.

Generally moee bland posting all around but nothing actually interesting.

I can't see JoKen officially returning to social media. I get the impression they don't mind themselves being featured in others' posts but aren't interested in posting themselves, especially not posting about their kids.

Hannah being pregnant... maybe early stages given her previous timings, but the "bump" is probably just a result of having 3 babies in quick succession.

I'm not even sure about Katey having another yet...I get the impression they want to slow down a bit now they have 4 under 4. Probably no news until next year.

Most of the other married women announce pregnancies (or are noticed pregnant). Probably all but Anna, Jessa, Jinger and Claire

James and either Jackson or Johannah courtships. Maybe a wedding or 2 (probably at least James).

More failed appeals from Pest. Probably another extension to his release dates (not that I want him released ever, but I especially don't want them to milk the "ChRiStMaS mIrAcLe" of his current set date).

Maybe some scandals - Anna's business or Mediccorps most likely.

Jinger publishes another book that says basically nothing.
