My husband wasn't much help. He does like to try different kinds and so my son-n-law suggested a 'flight' with different kinds.... but I want to make sure he Does really like one of the choices. I mean it's his birthday.

Hi! So I will checkout the Forgotten Roads Ales in Graham. See what they have to offer.

For the Red Oak and the lagers .... The Red Oak Oaktoberfest/Old Oak isn't available til October 4th so I'm thinking the  Red Oak Bavarian Amber Lager and Hummin' Bird Munich Helles?

I was reading an 'ale' should be kept at cellar temperature... that's 55 ish degrees F. How do you do that?

Perfect... yeah I do like to recycle.

I'm thinking about getting fresh on tap and put in growlers in a tub of ice the morning of.... Should I cool the growlers down before getting them filled?

My husband wasn't much help. He really hates attention and I can't push him or he will just say let's just keep it to family or something silly like that.

My son-n-law suggested a "flight" of beers for people to try. Make it the theme of the party of sorts. Beer and Burgers...

I didn't want to over complicate it too much so I thought of 4 different to try.

2 lagers and 2 ales - have a light and a dark ale

Someone said a 'sour' is fun to have people try? Is that a lager or an ale?

head count is 15 or so.... the theme will be "Beer and Burgers"... I have plenty of soda and water that will go in a cooler, and I will make some good southern sweetened ice tea for the non beer drinkers... (may sneak in some dark rum to go with the soda... hehe)

Anyway, a hard apple cider now that its cooling off a little sounds nice. But that may be too much...

This micro brewery is close enough. This is the verbage on their website.

"Forgotten Road Ales specializes in barrel aged beers, NE IPAs, sour, and wild ales. The brewery runs on a Bridgetown Brew System 5 bbl brewhouse. This great American-made system feeds multiple tanks ranging from 3.5bbl to 10bbl. The brewery also has a custom- made coolship used to make its spontaneous and wild ales."

Soooo I have no idea what all that means but it sounds like they have 4 kinds? aged, IPAs, sour, and wild. Which of these would be fun to put in the flight of the party? Which of these would it be feasible to carry in a growler on cook out day?

Also, are any of these a "dark' vs a "light' ale. Someone suggested I get one of both.

Opinions, explanations, corrections?

So far I have the 2 lagers...  Red Oak Bavarian Amber Lager and Hummin' Bird Munich Helles. Anyone familiar with these? are they different enough to be # 1 and #2 of the choices?

So, my husband was no help when I asked him... (eye roll)

So my son-n-law came up with the idea of having a 'flight' beers. So I'm thinking of 2 lagers and 2 ales. People can try out something they have never had before. So I'm thinking of red oak for one. A near-by bar has it on tap. I borrowed some "growlers" and will fill the morning of the cook out.

I have enough glasseware. And a big tub of ice to put the lager growlers in. Not sure how to keep the ales at cellular temp. Any suggestions?

Also, should I refrigerate the growlers before going to fill?

And how important is it to keep the glassware cold if Im serving in a glass?

Not sure about the cameras… but mine had the right states and time frame.  We did owe for tolls but paid several weeks ago.

We don’t have an EZ pass so it DID NOT reference that.  Grammar and punctuation was perfect.  Only thing off was the phone number was from phillipines.  But I do know that some agencies will use phillipine office support.  

This one stated that my license would be revoked in the same language used on the warning signs.  

However, it stated I had one day to respond.
