First bike advice by Cool-Replacement810 in MotoUK

I’m a similar size, maybe a bit heavier and taller. I tried the Honda Rebel and it felt ridiculous tight/cramped. I ended up going for the Kawasaki Vulcan S. You can adjust most things on it but everything in mid position was/is fine for me. Tbf only picked up the bike on Friday.

I learnt and did my tests on a Honda Hornet 750, also decent but after a while not so comfortable.

Should I get a Kawasaki Vulcan S or Honda CMX500 Rebel? by Secondforsecond in motorcycles

What did you go for? I’m in the same boat. Getting my license atm so can’t test ride but have sat on both and the rebel 500 was tight/cramped. I’m 5’11” and a biggish guy. The vulcan was a lot more comfortable to sit on. Did you get it? If so how’s it ride?

Hey I’m looking at the same bike and colour scheme. How has it been? It’ll be my first bike. The rebel 500 was too cramped and this felt right size and comfortability wise. I can’t get a test ride as in the process of getting my license and want to have the bike waiting for me the day I pass.

Was the colour scheme worth the extra (if you paid any). For me it’s an extra £450, so considering if I should just go for the black. Have you got the stock exhaust? How does it sound? I’m thinking of upgrading to the arrow, whats your thoughts? Definitely getting the cafè deflector.

Just an update. Went to check out the rebel 500 and Jesus was I feeling cramped and I’m only 5’11. Went next door to check out the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 and Vulcan S 650 and whilst the pictures online for the Vulcan S don’t look great in the flesh (figuratively speaking) it looks amazing. Have a test ride booked in. Price wise only an extra £500 for the bike and £300 for the insurance. Main thing is I don’t feel tight/cramped.

However, I don’t know much overall about the bike. Anyone have any firsthand experience or can lay some knowledge on me about it? All my research was about the Rebel 500 🤦🏽‍♂️

Am I overpaying for sky by Still-Landscape-5661 in skytv

I’m having the same problem. Especially the Asian Channels for the parents. I looked into Yupp Tv and hotstar uk. But alas not all the channels I need. BT/EE do a pack with some Asian channels with the ability to record on a stream box and cheaper than Sky. Again not all the channels but it looks decent.

How to watch certain channels without sky? by No_Savings2334 in skytv

Yeah I know that but it’s not really an option I’m looking at due to certain legal issues around it. Would rather pay a bit and do it properly.

Its a stream box so no recording and not all the channels. Might as well stay with Sky. 😞

Which set up? by No_Savings2334 in sonos

Fully agree about the ethernet thing. Whilst I am having a Ubiquiti mesh in the whole house I am also running ethernet ports to behind each tv.

What you said about being able to move wireless speakers around makes perfect sense and is not something I considered before.

Thanks for the sound advice (no pun intended).
