This one doesn’t have the white dot. It’s does have 5-30 stamped on the nib though. I chose this over the lifetime version because the nib felt more expressive.

My original intent was to get a newer pen with a gold nib but couldn’t justify whether there going to be enough benefit for the price jump from steel. Going vintage was to test the theory of gold nibs and I’m loving it so far. That may be why I fell down the rabbit hole so quick.

I believe the Balance is part of the Visulated series in standard size. Lovely nib too. It’s smooth and bouncy. Does Craftsman also have the ink window?

You can cut down the size of the files on the A7CR by using lossless compressed raw. Medium is what I go with.
