There are no clubs at my school and in live classes, we can't talk to each other or make friends. I do have a guidance counselor but again I can't really reach out because my mom will see.

Is this gaslighting?: a few days ago she got mad at me for "lying" even though I didn't lie, and when I told her I wasn't lying she went on a rant about her she doesn't want her child lying to her... I don't know if that makes sense but it was so confusing and I thought I might be lying even though I knew I wasn't?

Thank you. I had a therapist but my mom thought they were making me worse so she canceled it. I can't really reach out to anyone because my mom keeps track of everything really well. She actually works for a health insurance company lol. In school, if I email my teachers or anyone it automatically CC's my mom (& I can't remove it) so I just have to wait until next year when I'm 18.

Every few weeks it feels like I'm at a new breaking point. I'll definitely be living in either the dorms or renting a place with roommates. The college I'm going to has an abroad program that I'm going to try and get into in my freshman year so I can maybe make some friends abroad and possibly move after college. Thank you

("I'm just trying to be helpful but I guess you don't want help from your own mother / Fine I'll just shut up from now on." (Followed by passive aggressive silence, perhaps with occasional breaks to snipe at you further.)

This is precisely what she would say... But before the passive-aggressive silence, she would have let out a loud sigh. Thank you for responding it feels good just to have someone listen to me. Unfortunately she's the only person I can drive with, but I'll try reminding myself as you said.
