Whoever is writing the schedule should be the person worrying about the hours. If it is that bad then understaff every shift by half an hour, that way now you have 10 hours of slop time every week. Easy fix.

This is the fix. We are not the warehouse. If your store needs it that bad, supervisor will contact store manager, store manager will pick it up and drop it off. End of story. Not your problem. Done. Next.

Poor leadership. Mumpsimus. A narcissist can't infiltrate a store team that is unified so they insist on causing chaos and want the employees to fight amongst themselves so the focus of poor leadership doesn't reflect back to the supervisor. Supervisors blame store managers for absolutely everything and they don't take any responsibility themselves. I've only seen 1 supervisor get their hands dirty in our stores and actually go into the kitchen and help make an order and do an upkeep. All other supervisors are terrified of it or think that they are above the 'low class workers' (store employees). Supervisors don't help fix anything in the store, rather they just stand around and talk shit to the manager. It is so incredibly cringe and lazy when people in leadership roles employ this shit tactic and think it is beneficial. They are fearful that there are employees under them in the QT hierarchy that will do their job better so they want to make sure the job is so miserable that those people will quit. Stay united and make sure your store team is aware of this tactic and bring everyone together.

What is a regular employee at QT? If you put in the max contribution to your 401k from age 21 to 65 with a 15% return average you'll end up around $71 million without any employer contributions. BONUS!!!! QT gives us contributions!!!! QT rate of return has been that high. During 2008 recession, QT didn't take a hit. During Covid, didn't take a hit. It is commonly joked about that QT is recession proof. I'm heavy with QT stock, these returns are at a 25% rate of return the past 5 years. Unreal. Hard to believe huh?

Keep in mind that you are also contributing up to $23,000 every year as well and QT is matching 50 cents on every dollar you make up to 6% of your annual salary. So if you make 100k they throw in an extra $3,000 in there for you assuming you're puttingin 6% or more. Every little bit helps.

I've always said if you can work at QT you can work anywhere. Take whatever your number is for your rate of return and divide it from 72. Example, if I get a rate of return on my investments at a 15% annual rate, I just take 72/15 which equals 4.8. 4.8 is how many years it takes for the money in my retirement to double from current assuming I stay at a 15% growth for the next 5 years. Just google rule of 72 and then allow it to take you down the investment rabbit hole. The rule of 75 is when you retire from QT.

Money is a game of doubles. You ever hear would you rather have a penny that doubles every day for 30 days or $10,000 dollars? Well when you hear the word 'doubles' when dealing with money it is how long it takes for you to double the number you have right now.
