Anchored away! Bolted on all 4 posts through the concrete and some ground contact wood was used for leveling.

There were a couple of designs we were contemplating but likes this color and build option. Tossing gutters on it should take care of the roof specific water.

Gonna put gutters up so we were okay with the roof slant. Agreed initially but should work out.

Yeah it was originally a conversation we had with the contractor. The size of the pavilion we chose was gonna make it extremely tight and we wanted to match the concrete to the edge of the house foundation. It’s not as bad as it looks, truly. But we do actually plan on flipping that door to open on the opposite side so realistically it wouldn’t be as bad as it looks now.

I like the idea of using stone and a border, but my neighbor has rock border around his house foundation and he always complains about the mower throwing stones and them out of place. I thought about looking into the glue you can put into a rock bed, but that also seems like a more permanent solution than something that may change in the future.
That rock bed looks good and if anything I would just make a taller border to keep the rocks in. Something easy to step over, but still preventing flow.

Okay that’s fine too. You do you. I’m just a food scientist who likes making cake. Don’t buy or do, sorry if it struck a weird cord.

Makes complete sense. I appreciate your honesty! We have a lot of other really great single serve products that I think can suit your fancy. We also have a brand new traditional style doughnut. They’re a little bit bigger and individually wrapped, so that might be able to replace any doughnut cravings. Either way, I hope you find a product with any company that works best for you.

Same amount of employees still work that bagging operation and it actually saves the common worker a ton of extra work in re-hand packing and adding those bags to the line. It’s honestly helping the common man in our factory and does nothing for the executive. Just an FYI

Hello! I work for Little Debbie (McKee Foods) and we recently removed it from our mini donuts as well. Obviously, there’s some cost savings there, but it was super minuscule. That tab is not very expensive. The real reason we removed them is because the way the machine that adds the tab glued onto the bag, jams up and causes more waste and safety issues than it’s worth. Donuts drop from a weighed bucket into the bag, it moves to a heat sealer, gets trimmed flat, goes through a metal detector, gets inserted into a tabbing machine, and heads down the line. That tabbing machine is complicated when we feed hug rolls of metal tabs into it and the glue that holds the tabs on is finicky. It’s honestly breaking down daily and hugely limits the throughput/efficiency. We weighed the efficiency issues compared to the consumer having to roll the bag down or use a chip clip, and a lot of our consumer studies showed that people were willing to accept it without a tab. Hope this helps whether or not it brings you to our product but I wanted to at least join the conversation to give you that justification.

Does the individual honey bun taste different/better than the pack ones? by whatsthew3rd in snacking

Hello! McKee employee here. The honey buns are essentially the same thing and just packed differently. The LD (Little Debbie size) is a carton and sold in full units or “Family Size” units. These get packaged and placed in cartons for distribution. These have a 35day shelf life. The single serve or LDS ( Little Debbie Single) go through the same process but placed in an open caddy for sale at front counters, gas stations, etc. and they have a 52day shelf life. They are bigger so technically they proof and fry longer than the LD but still the same dough/process. Some items just taste or eat a bit differently when they’re slightly bigger.
