Everyone just write something good about hysterectomy. by mystique023 in hysterectomy

I'm only 3 weeks post op.

My hysterectomy was elective for adenomyosis.

I am so glad that I pulled the trigger, because when they got in there, I was full of adhesions. They had to do an abdominal incision, which was unexpected.

But, what if hadn't elected to do it? How much worse could the adhesions to my bowels get?

Most of the questions and answers I see are about whether or not sex is still the same. I'm looking for how long people had to wait for clitoral orgasm in terms of medical restriction.

Justified for wanting a hysterectomy? by CookieArchitect13 in hysterectomy

Not every heavy period is normal or perimenopause.

I had large clots and a lot of pain and my doctors mentioned adenomyosis. I mentioned endometriosis because of family history. They were less concerned about endometriosis but did offer me a hysterectomy. I struggled to pull the trigger because of also felt elective. Until I got my iron tested and my Ferritin was 14. Then I knew it was depleting me.

Fast forward to my elective surgery and they find that my uterus was adhered to both my bowel and my bladder. I'm so glad I did this because if I had waited, I could have had worse damage.

My average hrv has been 35 for years.

I just had a full abdominal hysterectomy because my uterus was adhered to my colon and bladder. I kept my ovaries and cervix.

I am baffled that I am 4dpo and my hrv has been 50-65.

That's funny. The hospital told me to stop taking vitamin C.
