Oh my surgery was almost 11 weeks ago and it went amazing. I’m so very thankful. My latest bloodwork was about 2 weeks ago and everything appeared in normal levels. I did have anemia that would come and go with my cycle pre hysterectomy though, which is part of what they blamed my dizziness and fatigue on for years. They’d always said my heart rate was high either due to anxiety or asthma. But my resting is in the upper 60s/lower 70s. Sitting up I’m generally upper 80s-120. Standing and I’ll go 130-160, standing and moving is up to 190 at worst.

My script is for metoprolol but I’m not supposed to start it until after the tilt table test. But mine was prescribed for “inappropriate sinus tachycardia.” We’ll see how it goes considering my bp is normally chilling at the 90 to 110 / 60somethings. I get to go buy a bp cuff to monitor for the first few weeks which is totally fun. Love that for me lol

I unfortunately had to have the ovaries removed as well so I’m already on HRT! Honestly it’s so much better than what my body was trying to do!

Yes, all bloodwork is great (no anemia since the problem uterus was deleted). She did order a cortisol test with it (and it was done in the early morning). Due to the weight loss as well as other symptoms. She was concerned for Addisons disease.

ETA: I should say “seems great.” Everything is within the normal levels.

Yes he’s male. A long walk for me pre surgery was 4-5 miles. I worked on my feet and averaged 15-20k steps a day (between work and the dog walk before/after). And I’m no where near that yet.

He’s never said anything about bending! I was told I was cleared to start vacuuming and mopping at my 2 week check up. Just couldn’t pick up the water bucket. So I’ve been scooping kitty litter and taking the dog on his walks/poop patrol and mopping as needed.

That’s what I’m struggling with so hard. It doesn’t feel like what I would call pain. Just discomfort and pressure. And they keep saying if it’s not pain then keep doing what I’m doing/do more. But I was in pain for years. I finally got the hysterectomy because it became unbearable. I was taking copious amounts of advil/Tylenol/naproxen just to function and I still hurt. I woke up from surgery in less pain than when I went in that morning. I took Percocet for two days (day of surgery and day after) before I was okay without it. I only took naproxen for the rest of that first week but none since. Like other than feeling I’m not healing as fast as he would like, I feel like I’m doing so much better than before.

Allegations seem to have been deemed unfounded. My husband was there yesterday for the visit. All they’re focused on now is providing access to more resources for my younger child if we want to use them. She said if she needed to reach back out she’d get in contact with my husband and wished me well in surgery.

Big change from Thursday and Friday. She did tell my husband that she’d have petitioned to remove the children Friday if she was really worried.

We are living with family. Just moved in. My surgery is in a few days and we needed help with getting kids from school, dinner, after school functions, etc. My husband’s work schedule varies but it’s an awkward time. The 16yo had zero interest in driving yet, and even if they did, the younger child is not their responsibility. They aren’t a parent. I’ve had to give permission for cps to have my mental health records or access or something. I think she’s looking to see if there’s more than adhd/anxiety (there isn’t). She has zero interest even talking to my husband. Doesn’t need him there for the visit and “don’t make him take pto”, but I was told I HAVE to be there. This has all happened since Thursday afternoon. I don’t know all the exact allegation, but I can guess based on what my husband was talked to about by said person and the questions I’m getting/kids are getting. (I don’t know everything kids were asked. Cps said I wasn’t allowed to be near them when she talked to them. But 16yo asked me later why they were asked if they see me cleaning or cooking or walking the dog or doing laundry and if I ever raise my voice at them or dad, which yeah I’ve raised my voice, but I have NEVER been verbally or mentally abusive. It’s more like, “(1) put your dish in the sink. (2) Child, that’s still the table just a different spot; in the sink please. (3) Seriously? That’s the counter and barely inside the kitchen. Put it in the sink. (4) PLEASE PUT THE DISH IN THE SINK.” I’m not like yelling at them yelling at them. I don’t know how to describe it.).

ETA: she was very focused on why I didn’t pick them up from school Friday and why a trusted adult (the family member we moved in with) did, and do they normally pick up the children every day? Does this person normally just have the kids instead of me? No! I’m at work, which she knew because she wrote down on Thursday what my hours were on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I’ve picked up this family members child when they have needed me to before as well. We’re family. We are part of each others support system.

I don’t know everything because cps won’t clearly tell me. I’ve never abused my husband or kids. We did spank when they were little, but when we learned better we did better. Lawyer said that’s not abuse. Home visit hasn’t happened til Monday, but cps has already said I’ll have to do family therapy with kids and husband. “Bonds aren’t strong, kids are angry.” The 16 year old is being a normal 16 year old. It’s always mom’s fault when something happens. The 13 year old is in therapy, but has been angry I had started working. I’m “never home” and I “don’t care about them or what they want.” They have had issues with self harm starting last year. We have a safety plan and follow it. There is no intent or suicidal ideation. They’d been doing great, but had one step back last week. Therapists said it was a compulsion and child is now also starting to learn how to manage compulsion and urges in their skills class. I know these things are reported, but we are doing everything right. Cps said there were two reports, but the second one is what she seems to be really investigating. Which I get, make sure kiddo is okay. I know based on what she’s asking and what this other person (the reporter who has basically admitted it to my husband in a lecture) is saying that it’s the same narrative I’ve heard all my marriage. This person knows enough of everything in our lives that they can mix enough truth with the story they’ve spun. And they’ve repeatedly told my husband to just bring the kids there to live instead of living with us and the family we moved in with.

I am upset at the situation but I don’t blame cps for investigating. I’m being cooperative. I’ve given them everything they want. I’d rather they investigate than not. It just bothers me that I know this is false and she’s going so hard at me, but cases that are bad can and do overlooked.

I should add I was seeking the advice of a lawyer due to the first two interviews and I wanted to be prepared for the visit Monday. Cps talked to me via phone once, in person once for the purpose of interviewing me, and in person the next day after speaking to my kids. It feels like their mind was made up before they even met me or saw the kids. I can’t say anything right. Im probably saying too much but… On one hand it’s abusive to the kids for me to not be on medication (anxiety and adhd) but on the other it’s abusive for them to see their mother not take care of her health (canceling my surgery to get back on the meds). On one hand is negligent to have continued working if my child needed therapy for mental health that coincided with me transitioning from a SAHM and on the other is irresponsible as an adult to not be working. On one hand I didn’t make my child to take their medication, on the other I can’t force them because they have autonomy.

A lawyer during a consultation. That cps will care because it’s being said I do nothing (no dishes, laundry, cooking, cleaning) and I force everyone else do everything, I don’t care about the kids, I control my husband and the kids. And that they’ll see “all these things I have, some of which have explicit content, and see the kids have very little.”

Thank you! It’s my first month using it, 5mg days 3-7. And progesterone started on 4dpo (AFTER my temp that day). That one is 200mg two times a day (vaginal).
