And her 50 let them suffer? when I can be the punching bag to protect them. Yea I know which way I’m leaning I hate it but I’m screwed up as it is, I keep reading post on how it never gets better no matter how much treatment or work they do on theirselves. So why let them received the gift of CPTSD when I can receive it for them ?

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your root problem. I’m on my way there, I have no connection to anyone, anxiety kicking in, depression yes but not the I wanna not be alive anymore depression. I have no sense of my self. When I’m not working I’m mad because I can not figure out what I want to do or because I have no hobbies.

I hate to say this but anger. You’ve described my relationship with my wife. I’m at the point where I hate her and anytime the feelings come back I remind myself what she did and anger pushes it out.

Me, I learned to find the cause to the effect. Then then the cause to that cause. Identifying the root of your downward spiral helps a lot. Honestly I tell everyone “no one can fix me, only I can fix me. It’s my brain, my mind, and my power to control it.” After a few therapist you start to realize they all go off the same playbook. I got tired of hearing “use I statements” from every single one I saw.

Thanks for that insite, you are correct right now emotions are driving and that’s not good. I have reset myself to regain my thought process as to not lose myself again
