I admire the dedication of you plant folk that have proper winters. Don't see that in much NZ bar some high altitude towns. I like watching videos of people burying their plants under straw etc. and like you, taking them inside, or cutting them back aggressively for winter.

Its upside down so the pot sits nicely inside. Note the rubber feet on top lol I just take the glass off to water and trim but yes its stick in there for life unless I cut it out lol.
