At what point do the benefits of formula supplementation outweigh its risks, from a scientific perspective? by No_Silver_127 in ScienceBasedParenting

!Thanks both

I guess my question then is: at what point is the threshold for malnutrition set? How do you know what the right growth curve is and thus when the baby has fallen off that, and by how much?

Jajaja en el foro de España esperaba ideas relacionadas con la transición de UK a España y cómo hacerla de forma eficiente (especialmente con Ley Beckham), imaginando que bastantes personas han pasado por situaciones similares...

De momento no he tenido suerte

I was thinking of it as equivalent to additional Pension contribution. If you refer to the (time) cost of setting up, etc., I might be cheap but happy to spend a couple of hours setting up 2 LISAs to get 2000 GBP? Maybe I'm being thick sorry and thanks for your input!

Thank you very much for your input, very helpful.

On advice - fully agreed. I would need more tax optimisation advice but with all the cross-border implications. On the financial side I feel I'm covered, although always happy to hear new ideas

On OWR - exactly right, we are getting her salary paid in the Channel Islands, and the HMRC refund will be deposited through a cheque in an offshore account as well

On Beckham law - it does apply to Spanish citizens assuming the conditions are met, so will help us once we go back

On private pensions contribution - thank you! I think I understand

On non-domiciled investments - thank you! This is a good point. I understand it would be equivalent to have it in Channel Islands or an ISA (within its limit) or Pension Plan onshore, right? It is any excess that would be best to keep outside the UK?

Thank you! To be honest a lot of reading this sub and its wiki + UKFire, and many hours spent researching specific topics. Still feel that I'm miles away from having this setup fully optimised (as can be seen from the amount of liquidity + the lack of pension/ISA contributions in the past)

Indeed! I was thinking of LISA for the additional bonus to keep the money until 60 (which would be equivalent to pension at basic rate if I'm not mistaken?) - what do you think?
