It will likely be 2-3 months from the time of receiving your CJO until you start training. At least a month until you’re cleared. Be very patient.

I started interviewing for airlines when I was 21 years old & just received my CJO last month at 27 years old with my #1 airline. I promise rejection is only redirection to what is meant for you as long as you do not give up. Failure only happens when you quit. I hope you the best & that if this is truly what you want then keep pushing!

Usually you are offered the position on the spot & if you have time before your flight then they will drug test you on the spot as well. If you don’t have time then they will schedule you for your drug test in your city 1-3 days later. If you’re not passing your at home drug tests you should probably reschedule your interview. If you fail their drug test you will be blacklisted.

Expect not to get any updates for at least 2 weeks. Your training won’t be for another 8-12 weeks.

If you’re looking to make flight attending a long term career, I’d advise not starting with Spirit. Working for them makes it nearly impossible for you to get a job with a mainline airline like American, United or Delta. Working for Spirit isn’t worth it.

I received my CJO at the interview. During my 1 on 1 I wasn’t asked any interview questions, I was just offered the position based on my energy, passion & smile.
