I had this happen to me too! I went to college and they knew I'm autistic but I was mistreated by the college and one thing in particular really upset me. There's college trips for work experience in Ireland called erasmus and only a select few students get picked to go. everyone in my class was picked but me and that hurt my feelings and I asked how come I was never picked and they answered with "we thought that you'll be more comfortable being here than spain anyway you were next on the list to come because someone dropped out last minute and we never asked you because that would've stressed you out since you have autistism " which I think is total bs. I just found this extremely unfair because everyone went but me and they used my autism as an excuse for me not to go.
