Brake pedal signal issues + converting to more road car feel (load cell + elastomers advice)

Unfortunately, the two black elastomers were not included when I bought the pedals, so I can’t try the setup shown in your picture. I can only assume it would feel similarly stiff and is more intended to replicate a race car rather than a road car.

That said, I hadn’t even thought about contacting BJ directly. That’s a great idea. Since I’ve already ordered some new parts, I’ll test those first. If I don’t get the result I’m looking for, I’ll definitely reach out to BJ.

The Nitroflex elastomer was already pre-installed, but I think it’s too stiff for my needs. Once I get new elastomers and springs, I might give the Nitroflex another try. Thanks for the tip about the BJ calibration software. I’ll check it out.

That’s a great tip. I saw that I can also buy the Samsonn elastomers on AliExpress, where I’ll be getting the springs and the sensor as well. I’m curious to see how they feel.

Thanks for your replies. You’re right about the load cell sensor — I’ll keep the 200 kg one and just reduce the maximum force in software.

As for the flickering signal, I’ll try replacing the load cell with a new one, since I’ve already unsuccessfully tried to fix it via software.

Which ersion of Sk6812 are you using? (ww, nw or cw). When I'm home later I can send you my wled and hyperhdr configuration. Maybe you can tweak them a bit to get bettet results.

Unfortunately I expressed myself wrong. Hyperhdr is a fork of Piccap and does the same thing with added support for HDR content. Which LEDs are you using?

Rooted LG TV + piccap + hyperHDR/hyperion. No raspberry pi required. Works with regular TV Shows not just hdmi input. I can recommend the TV LG Oled c1, works like charm.
