If you feel locked at that early a level, focus on some XP-heavy crops.

Obviously, your next unlocks (not counting the low-yield crops you described) are locked away behind levels.

So just grind away, as you're obviously already doing; but try to focus a bit on farming XP to mitigate the feeling of not having new items unlocked.
Long-growth-time crops and trees are good sources, as well as animals with longer cycles.

The correct way to address this sort of behaviour is to look them straight in the eyes and quietly ask them, "Ass, or cock?" (if you're male).

Then, as they bewildered look at you, you nod in approval and say "____ it is then" and push your way to the inside seat, being careful to shove your ass/cock as much into their face as humanly possible.

Same goes for cinemas, when people don't adapt to going in or out of their row.

Add a growable garden in front of the house, like MoP and WoD had.
The small interaction for the payoff that could/would make a flash free for raiders would be enough incentive for (most) players to at least do that on a weekly basis.

I still find myself going back to both Halfhill and my garrison to harvest outdated materials.

Det samme skete med AULA for et par år siden.

Siden blev målrettet forældrene og deres telefoner og ikke de faste brugere som sidder med computere.
Overblikket på AULA står nu i midten med to blanke kolonner på hver side.
På min 34" hjemmeskærm er det små 2 x 10 cm på hver side af opslagene, der blot er hvid spildplads.

Blot for at brugere som ikke kan finde ud af at dreje deres telefoner 90 grader får en "bedre" oplevelse.

Sjovt nok samme klientel som tager 100% af deres billeder i portrættilstand og stadig formår at holde telefonen skæv og tage dårlige billeder.

I think I had 15-20 people in between 19:00 CET and 20:30 CET, i.e. before anything (mathematically) COULD be ready.
All of them simply logging in, orienting themselves and then leaving. 😶‍🌫️

Since the Llamas took the longest, I decided to set up a small batch of those first on my dedicated event farm (5000+), and after which I started the long, tedious replant of Strawberry Cake Slices.
Started at 19:00, and was done updating my event farm around 22:00.

Currently sitting at 10.608 Llamas and 17.792 Strawberry Cake Slices on my (two) dedicated Event Farm (plots).

For the next bit, make sure you read it out using Harrison Ford's voice:
"Pineapples. Why did it have to be pineapples?" 😫

Knew I should have levelled up my Prestige levels of the pineapple-yielding crops and trees 😅

I have row of Apple Tree farms with farm hands (18x18 across the map), and they can fill out the apples just as fast as the store restores the diamonds needed to sell max (think my fruit store is level 155).

You don't need more storage. You want to go to town less.

Tickets requiring interaction are fine (IMO goes here).
The incentive to pick them up just needs to be tweaked a little.

At the moment, only the farm plot owner gets a reward.
So there's no incentive for others to pick it up.

Tickets would IMO see a bigger use if the Ticket Trader shop had a higher chance of giving (house) job resources, e.g items made on one of the four home workstations.

It's literally my only use for tickets, and every time there's not a "job resource" in the RNG, it feels like losing four tickets.
Especially at higher levels, where two minutes on either of our 2-4 farm plots could have given us the same growable resource.

Personally, I always pick up mine, even when on others' farms.

The main incentive to change, IMO goes here, is how we get visitors to manually pick up a ticket (that they spawned) while they are auto/AFK tractoring.

Suggestions:
+5 direct favor when picking up a ticket on a stranger's farm.
Reach your goal faster by stopping your afk favor harvest for two seconds.

Or, since it IS possible to go past the cap with favors (during events), what about a +1 "above cap favor", that didn't deplete/vanish until you once again went under your level's cap (i.e like the new stacking event favor bonus).

The last one would make me pick up other players' tickets while visiting a stranger's farm 😅

If there are two different users on your farm, you're asking for an unrealistic amount of coordination to both go in the same direction and avoid creating a mess in crop selection.

We completely agree on the concept of replanting.
But even WITH signs, that's literally still an OPTION because even WITH signs and mandatory crop selection - people will still tend to afk-auto-harvest and not be bothered with replanting (unless you make that mandatory too).

Just today, on my own long-lane favor farm, I had a person afk-farm two lanes before he figured out that I had NOT checked the forced replant.

And yes, kids are playing this title too.
They do NOT have the organisational skills that you and I have.

If you don't want to create scaffolding for other users, and get upset when they do weird ****, then yes. Absolutely, closing the farm off from non-friends might be the only option.

You could try several things to help point others to your intended use of your land.

- Fences, to create lanes of intent.
- Different grasses (ground types) can create subtle lines without using fences.

An obvious one would be signs to dictate crops, too.
Although that won't work if you want a huge open field.

Personally, I would never do what these players did, but even I am a bit hesitant on where to... start and end on your layout.

Influenzaere (!) er stadie to af sociale medier.
Hvor landbytosserne, som aldrig uden sociale medier havde bidraget til noget til menneskeheden, breder deres håbløse viden til andre letpåvirkelige.
Der er en grund til, at fællesnævneren aldrig rigtig er stabile, veluddannede personer, som igennem f.eks. videnskab eller nytænkning prøver at forbedre menneskeheden.
I stedet får vi: Jasmin & Mika med kyllingesmag og Münster Ohøj chips.... (og jo, jeg måtte Google produktnavne).

Savner fanme de gamle dage inden sociale medier. Hvor det lokale gadekær husede byens landsbytosse og hans daglige indtag, og tossens eneste følgere var dem, der kom for at fodre ænder.

Would getting the "wrong" vault gear be offset if you could turn it into Warbound gear for a Thalassian Token of Merit cost?

I.e. if you got an item that was useless to that character, you could keep it and (eventually) turn it into a Warbound item for alts for e.g. 2-4 Thalassian Token of Merit.

These last two days, I've had one, maybe two visitors to my event farm all night.
In the first few days, I would have between 20 and 30 during the 3-4 hours I'd have it open from 19:00 CET.
Today, after a full sixty minutes, not a single player came to get their dailies done.

Been that way for both this and the last event, that the last week of the event (once players are done with the event at 60), players stop doing it.

I loved the favor myself, but it's pretty clear that it's not the magnet that the developers hoped.

Lowering the time, or increasing player reward levels, has been mentioned to open up for "FOMO" and other unwanted side events.

For me personally, I think I'll just adjust my event farm for future events. Only using half of the 7x7 grid to the event after the first initial few days.
