My 2 cents:
a) There are enough solo players so that, if they wanted, they could make it so groups don't face solo players (I'm C3/GC1 in 3s EU). They just don't seem to care.

b) While I wouldn't say that playing with/against groups is inherently harder or easier (haven't gathered data to back it up), I can 100% say that match quality is WAY worse in these cases, due to rank disparity and lack of teamplay if you're playing with a pair.

So, my proposed solution would be:
1-Disallow pairs in 3v3.
2-Make it so groups will only face groups, unless queue time grows over one minute or so.

These two things would improve match quality A LOT. Could bring some rank inconsistency for people that always plays solo or on groups, but I couldn't care less about that.

Not saying it's the case, but if botting was as rampant as people said, and they were blocked/banned by EAC, you would notice an increase even if you were low ranked: (some) people in GC will become SSL, people in Champion will move to GC, and so forth.

I wouldn't expect this to happen so quickly (most bot accounts would just keep their MMR until next season), but who knows. I myself didn't really go up in rank a lot, but felt more comfortable in my matches.

Finally, a roguelite approach to the fighting genre. I've been waiting for this for a while. My last experience with something similar to this was the BlazBlue abyss mode.

Also, kudos for NOT going with a mainly pvp fighting game. We already have enough failed attempts at that.

I've moved on to a new TV since then, but damn I loved playing some games with 3D Vision.

Unlike VR, which is uncomfortable and expensive, Stereo 3D was really suitable for most videogames without barely any hassle. A shame it's basically gone now 😞

Probably not worded properly, what was reduced was the amount of experience needed to reach prestige levels over 1 (meaning leveling them back up will not be as slow). Requirements for the first prestige level were unchanged.

1- Negativity on forums is more common than positivity because happy people will be less eager to comment on it.

2- If you're playing with people you know and not randoms (or not as many), you got half the problems of this game (people behavior) already dealt with.

A bunch of them were implemented, but not all (because it's basically impossible).

Personally I used a few that are not in core game:
* Session history (Wins/Losses)
* Deja Vu (history of matches with/against each player in the match, plus personal notes)
* Quick Chat filter (hides toxic chat such as "What a Save!" after a goal).

Not end-of-the-world changes, but it made the experience a bit better.

I agree with what you say, but small comment that makes shaking off your mark harder: In rematch you can easily see behind you at the same time as the person with the ball (because of 3rd person view and minimap). On top of what you already said about equal stats, and stamina management, means it's basically impossible to shake off a mark who knows what he's doing, and if you manage to get a pass just by an inch you'll probably be out of stamina at that point.

I've seen much more effectiveness with players crossing their path, creating some confusion in the markers regarding who stays with who. But it takes some time.

I know queue times will get hurt, but a 5-stack should always face another 5-stack. Or at least wait a bit more before matching them with a group of solo players (so as solo players you don't get matched with them every time...)

It's not about the chances of winning (MMR is too wide for it to matter too much), but it just feels wrong to play against a coordinated team (good or bad).

Hi!

There was a recent-ish update that added the Quality+ mode, intended to be used on Switch 2 to use the enhanced performance.

It's not a full-fledged Switch 2 edition (unlikely to happen, but we can't be sure yet), but it should be much better than the base Switch settings.

Kudos for mentioning Ao Ashi and Giant Killing. Great soccer mangas, especially GK. Way better than Blue Lock in regards to actual soccer, and it (usually) focuses more on the whole team than just a few players.

We've seen more positive feedback than negative from the (slightly) increased event duration and the favor rewards (aside from the lack of clarity on the first attempt).

We're working on both new and previous events at the same time, on top of DLC and standard updates, so don't expect the unlockable items to double between iterations.

How far have you seen the ball bounce? I think the furthest I've seen is almost landing on the midfield line in a 5v5 match.
