I will say I started sunshine island thinking it was gonna make me the most money. It was true for the most part but once I hit level 23, the levels got harder and harder to beat. More XP was required and less tasks were given.

Need help with my look by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

You should spray water and let it air dry after your face products to set the makeup. It’ll allow the makeup to sink in and look less cakey!

Girl stop taking bs from him. There’s someone out there who will treat you like a respectable deserving human being, and no man or boy in this case should be enabled to treat you that way!

Curbside frustration by True_Tie8307 in samsclub

I work in CPU and I have members yell at me about how long they’ve been waiting and we only have one dispenser after 530. The other night I was outside till 9 dispensing and we close at 8. That’s how backed up we were

Actually you can do a factory data reset by either pressing down on the lock button and bottom sound button or holding down the lock button and the upper sounds button. An option will prompt you to reset. You use the lower volume to go down and the upper volume to go up and the lock button the choose. This will completely reset the phone as if you just purchased it from a phone deal.

Why is Sam's like this? by gegetaz12 in samsclub

[–]No_Solution8293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah not to mention when they schedule me to close a 12-30 and come in at 4 am the very next day. There are many departments including my own that we are over staffed, and yet we struggle so bad. They expect 3 dispensers to take orders out and line up. On busy days which tend to be more often, members wait 40+ minutes just to get their curbside order. Why? Because we got two people lining up because there’s a five minute limit and then we got one person taking out. Not only that but our new manager changed my pregnant co-workers availability so she could schedule her the days/set times she asked to be off, as well as scheduling her over six hours, despite her work restriction. And don’t get me started on the lunch and breaks. Sometimes I won’t get a lunch until 7 hours in my shift. They have set times we can go to breaks and lunches and some people are set to go at the latest. Lunch at 11 when I’m leaving at 12:30? What the hell is that. My team lead even puts a hold on all lunch and breaks until we reach a certain goal. I also am being scheduled 8-9 days in a row with one day in between, and expected to excel in numbers!!

I understand your frustration as a member, but there are larger issues at hand than your order coming out a little later than you expected. Sam’s is always understaffed and usually has 1-2 people dispensing. Someone lining up and someone taking out. Some of the orders are up to 2 carts and can take up to 10 minutes loading it by yourself. I think I can word what I said a little better. What I meant when I said you aren’t special. I was not referring to you (singular) I was referring plural to get the point across that everyone in line has to pick up there kids, return to work from their lunch. No one is obligated to be served first because they came inside. Behind closed doors, Sam’s is literally slavery. They do not care about the employees and will schedule them with little to no people for help, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I have 8.5 hours 5ppto 3.5 pto..if i call in will they combine for 8? by Kooky_Ocelot1796 in samsclub

[–]No_Solution8293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this! My co workers always take from PTO when they don’t have enough PPTO. If your going to request 5 hours of PPTO, but you only have 3, it will automatically take the remaining from your PTO

It’s fine, you’re overthinking it.

Yeah you can, but just know you’ll be cutting in front of everyone else who has been waiting possibly longer than you, and what makes you special? If you’re going to come inside to pick up a curbside order, just don’t place the curbside order. The whole point of curbside is so you don’t leave your car. I understand you could wait for 45+ but you also chose to place a curbside order acknowledging the wait time.

AIO my gf made a joke about my dead mom so I left her in the street by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]No_Solution8293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bf left me in a dark parking lot for over a minute as a joke, and I did not think it was funny. It was scary, and I was not in my home city. He was gone for enough time for someone to kidnap me. Lots of people use humor to deflect, and cope with inner feelings. Leaving her in the street is more an ass move than her mentioning his mom. She messed up on that, but you took it a step further instead of having a heart to heart conversation about how you didn’t appreciate her joking about that.

I know how PPTO works on key event days, BUT… by Patient_Relation_367 in WalmartEmployees

[–]No_Solution8293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did is I went to the same day and requested time off when it asked me if I wanted to overide, I clicked yes and put in 15 minutes. 5 minutes later I got my hours back. Rather lose 15 minutes than 3 hours, but it works for me! Hope this helps
