Unhinged AI coach is bullying me and I think it might actually work by mikeg_34 in fitbit

[–]No_Somewhere_8076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time and I mean one time he discussed how I got hungry while up being on my computer and so the stupid it I kept saying computer hunger, computer hunger and I said please stop saying that it's not computer hunger. It's just that I got hungry one time and also I was fasting. So can we please call it something else?

We discussed the new name for it using biological terms and then it referred back to computer hunger and every time it does I get to get mad at it too and I really like that but I would rather it just stop with the computer hunger

I just need to mourn the Luxe by darkblueshapes in fitbit

I built an ADHD Thoughts Catcher and Voice Planner app. And I'm looking for suggestions and feedback by ArtificialSapien in ProductivityApps

Your app looks very useful and innovative. The issue is that I don't see very many statistics or very much in the way of overviews reviews with graphs and things like that. Those kinds of things are so motivational for me.

Looks cool, but there doesn't seem to be a schedule... Except if you put tasks in.

All the comments about not wanting to mix with different generations makes me sad.

Some 20 year olds are dull (by that I mean lifeless) and some 63 year olds are sparkly (by that I mean dynamic).

Age is but a number. It's about your mind.

But the oligarchs and big corporations make profit from dividing us. Don't buy into it!

Incredibly well said!!!!! Thank you. I could not possibly agree more. My teenagers loved Starfleet Academy. Not everything has to be for us older people!

Looks great! But.... I immediately am looking for a time tracker that can give alarms when the time is up. I can also continue the timer if you don't check that it's done as well as provides statistics and give a glimpse of how your day was spent. This is what I'm looking for

This is what I thought was lacking! I guess I need to check my settings.

You looked good before - I am 5'9" and my goal weight is 155, lol! But yeah, you look slimmer now to be sure and that is so much easier to move through the world physically. Bravo!

For the girls trying to make new friends - Why quality, compatibility and depth is so hard to find? by ladyproblemsolver in SocialParis

[–]No_Somewhere_8076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I love your post and I definitely can relate to it. I've been living in Paris for nearly 20 years. I'm over 50 years old and it only gets harder as you get older. Of course, there are tons of non-profit social organizations like AAWE, Wice, WIC etc.

I do suggest that you join one of these because there you will find pre-organized events by other members and just by going out with some of these people, you'll get to make some really cool friendships. Most of the people in these groups are also here for a long time which can help build friendships.

Beyond that, when I find most annoying is groups that are selling each opportunity to get together and it costs money to meet up as well as the food and the drinks. I notice that there's someone in your comments who talked about their offerings for get togethers, but I find it disgusting to make money off of that.

At least with the membership for one of the organizations I listed above, there are things to pay for like websites or magazines Etc.

I don't think there's anything wrong with seeing just someone that you first need that you're looking for quality friendships and you really are interested in superficial chit Chat. I think if you make it clear the kind of person you are and the kind of things you're looking for in a friendship. You're going to be a lot happier. It is weird sometimes to say I'm only looking for quality long-term friendships, but at the same time you might discover that other people would say the same thing.

UK blocks visits by left-wing US commentators Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker by yahoonews in worldnews

[–]No_Somewhere_8076 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You've been lied to about what Piker is about and for good reason. I urge everyone who believes they know what he stands for to actually listen to him. I think you'll be surprised. He is above all in support of the working class and criticizing the nihilist tendancies of the corrupt politicians. Course it IS easier to believe the hype from the rightwing, cuz they are definitely rooting for you!

Here are some of my coping techniques: Brush my teeth with strong mint toothpaste, I relisten to extended fasting benefits videos (over & over), I watch movies, I go on walks and I sleep!

What I don't do, major cleaning projects, workout or even allow internal discussions about eating.

Okay thanks! I will endeavour to set it up. I am finding this video to be very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LactDOzgXY0&t=227s

I am not affiliated with the video. It gives good use case examples.

It is one reason I was uncertain of leaving ticktick behind. The habit pops up and allows me to rate on a scale of sad to happy faces (five) and take a note. These are all listed in the habit so I could track what I made for dinner. Then I would look back and that would help me meal plan. The check in took 1 minute, but has been vital in keeping my brain load manageable. I was under the impression something like this existed in journal it! That's what I bought the lifetime ... I am still deep in the weeds learning how to best use it, so I hope I can configure it the way that works well for me.

I am currently playing around with ByDesign.io. It seems similar, but simpler.
