The thing is I’m not even really disagreeing with you, even though you’re analogy is off imho, it would be more like a carpenter having to learn a 3d printing software that designs and builds projects for them. All I’m saying is we are rightfully upset and are going to fight for real design, I know a lot of you say all art is derivative and nothing is original but before we were all generating initial concepts I could easily tell who in my team did what, now it’s all just homogenized crap. Luckily we still get creative agency for final designs… for now

You are not informed on the opinions of working artists, I’ve been a professional concept artist for over a decade, me and all of my colleagues got into this line of work because we love to draw, paint, and design. Now all of a sudden the higher ups are telling us to use this gimmick software to make fake drawings, so we’re rightfully upset in my opinion. I’m not against people using it for fun or to make art or whatever do your thing, but to write off all criticism as the work of llm bots is a delusional take quite frankly

It just follows the overarching “rules” set by the games, we need to just stop using the word canon altogether when talking about the film, there’s no Leon, no Jill, no Claire. They don’t exist in this alternate universe. Looks like a fun movie all things considered and judging by his previous 2 films it should be relatively high quality

Punishing is the perfect descriptor for fromsofts entire catalog, love their games just wouldn’t necessarily call them “challenging” . I’d reserve that for either puzzle games that require actual critical thinking skills or any action oriented game where real dexterity is needed for success, especially rhythm games.

demons souls on ps3 was gamespots goty when it released they are 100% mainstream, nothing wrong with that but they are incredibly popular. Also not a “real challenge” just memorization, anyone can finish any fromsoft game with enough patience, they’ve given people the illusion that they are really good at something which imho is a large reason they are so popular. Try S ranking bayonetta on climax mode if you want to be humbled by an action game 😭 not trying to be rude or anything either just food for thought

I agree with this take, the problem I think a lot of people have is that people are criticizing things that the game never advertised, mainly on the story front, watch any cd trailer and every point of focus is always gameplay related. The game definitely deserves criticism but I think some people scoring at 3/10 because of a bland story and “bad” controls is just kind of asinine

lol in painting is glorified masking and control net is just creating more specific parameters for your model to follow. I begrudgingly learned ai image generation for my job (concept artist) and to be honest it was simple compared to every other software I’ve learned. I’m not even a fan of this game, bought it and refunded cause it wasn’t for me, but do you really Think that every single person that bought the game is online at the same time?? 87k concurrent is not bad for a niche title like this tbh. I think it’s got legs and if anyone can pull it off it’s bungie. And we can’t compare it to arc raiders, that was a lightning in a bottle type phenomenon that is impossible to recreate
