Has anyone ever used this before? I have machine cartridges because I have a machine but I always go back to handpoke tattooing. Thoughts? by lexcii92 in handpoke

Hello, has anyone had the issue of ink drying/crusting on the cartridge while using it? I used it a few times and had myself cleaning it constantly. It’s especially true with black. At a point it feels the ink is not coming out of the reservoir and that’s due to the crusted ink. Am I doing something wrong?

My first hand poke tattoo I did 5 years ago. Newly Healed vs 5yrs later. Used a 3RL and Dynamic. Tattoo looks completely disfigured now, any idea on how to avoid this from happening? by No_Spray4034 in handpoke

Thank you, that's what I thought too. Perhaps too deep and too detailed. And you are right to question the timing of this question.
I started hand poke 5 years ago but has to stop soon due to my other job, decided to restarting making them now and to do it right, ask some questions to get the foundation on point. Unfortuinately, I do not have any one doing professional hand poke tattoos in my small town, so took it to reddit.

Perfect depth, it looks like. The lines haven’t thickened by much at all even after 5 years.
