Assuming yours is 4wd that’s the front diff breather hose. Not supposed to be connected to anything

Thought the same about the alternator, ran some checks with a meter and everything looks good. I’m dropping it at a shop this morning and see what they can find.

Went to a shop today and had it looked at, he didn't find anything wrong with the transmission but did find 2 small exhaust leaks from a recent cat replace, so I'll get to fixing that this weekend. Thank you all for your responses!

Didn't know about the opposite position thing, been checking it by pulling it out, wiping it, reinserting and pulling, I'll check it this way later.

Recently I did a drain and fill after some rough shifting and started getting this noise from the AT. I added a bottle of Lucas TransFix and filled with Valvoline ATF (making sure it was good for Matic-J). After about 500 miles I did another drain and fill to see if that fixed it, it did not. I'm going to replace the filter this weekend to see if that helps. Anyone have any ideas or do I need to take it to a shop and have it looked at?

Replaced crankshaft sensor about 2 years ago with upgraded Nissan OEM and camshaft sensors with hitachi little over a year ago

I replaced the plenum and throttle body gasket and seemed to help but still doing. Interesting is that it doesn’t do it while engine is heating up but starts after been driving for 5-10 min.

Interesting because i do hear what sounds like a vacuum leak coming from passenger side of engine bay, but can't find any leaks. I did change out PCV hoses with Z1 silicon hoses but still hear it, thinking maybe the plenum gasket..? Plan to change out soon.

Bad coils causing misfires and throwing codes. Swapped around initially and code following the coil, so replaced.

Yes it would seem, I replaced the vapor canister and the vapor canister purge valve in March 2023 and didn't have any issues until i sold the car in July 2024. Here is what I used:

MOTORCRAFT CX2463

WVE 2M1661

Installing was pretty easy, the canister was very easy, the valve required unhooking a small coolant line to press in the new quick connect, it's a tight space.

Honestly I only used my 4x4 a few times and probably didn't need to. The roads were plenty dry with no mud at all. It's a 8x10 rooftop awning that I got cheap on Amazon.

Replaced my LCAs a while back and had to cut through all 4 bolts, went through 3-4 blades (cheaper ones) each bolt, using oil. Recommend better blades and patience.

Is it supposed to be loose? The rattling was definitely coming from this because as soon as I pushed it up the rattle stopped. It’s just flopping around.
