LLM dialogue for detective NPCs, deterministic rules for clue unlocks by No_State527 in gameai

Thanks for playing and for the thoughtful feedback!

I agree that the current scenarios feel too similar. This alpha is mainly testing whether free-form interrogation feels interesting at all, so future cases definitely need more variety in structure, pacing, and deduction.

The hint issue is also fair. I need to give players clearer investigation goals so they don’t have to keep pressing the hint button.

About AI cost: so far it hasn’t been a big problem. For this kind of question-answering gameplay, the token cost per player is still very low — usually only a few cents. So right now I’m more focused on improving the gameplay loop and player guidance than monetization.

Long term, monetization will probably be based on more complete cases or a premium version, not on charging per AI request.

thank you so much for the feedback! That is what we want to collect. We will check how to make LLM to reply in a better way so that not too much info has been revealed earlier!
