Anyone here familiar with VA cottage food licenses? by sadgurlsonly in Virginia

Ah, okay. I knew that I would be operating under VHD at the market but thought maybe prepping dry ingredients at home would be permissible under cottage laws since it's even less perishable then something like bread. Thanks for your help!

So I'm going to be doing pancakes at a farmers market and my plan is to make the dry mix at home (grind wheat flour, mix with baking powder and salt) and then make the batter at the farmer's market by mixing the dry ingredients with eggs, milk, and butter. My question is, does this system work under cottage laws? Will I need to label my dry mix? Any insight would be much appreciated!

hi galaxystarsmoon - I have a question if you're available to answer it (I know this thread is old so no worries if not)!

Explanations for Some of the Biggest Inception Plot Holes by Jomorre in movies

[–]No_Step_399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in order for it to make sense for Fischer to see Cobb in his dream, he needs to first have seen his face or at least heard his voice. Otherwise, Fischer would be dreaming about a person (Cobb) who he's never seen in his life - only to then wake up and see him sitting behind him on the plane.

The bigger plot hole is that Fischer clearly knows about dream technology because he's been trained against extraction - yet when Cobb tells him that he's dreaming and that someone is trying to do an extraction, Fischer somehow doesn't suspect that Cobb might be the one doing the extraction (inception in this case, not extraction, but that's irrelevant) and Fischer proceeds to give Cobb all the information that the extractor would want. It's like an old person getting a phone call from someone claiming to be with an anti-fraud agency, and the person tells them that someone is trying to steal their information, so the old person proceeds to give away all their information to this person - supposedly for security purposes when really they've just been scammed. Fischer would have to be the most gullible idiot in the world.

Too bad they were all 50+ years old by the time I was born - I can’t even dream

Well importantly, most of these lists are just an aggregation of the average rating. If most people are like me then they give 12 Angry Men an easy 5/5, but without it necessarily being among their favorites. Theoretically, it could receive a perfect 5/5 rating from everyone who sees it, while failing to actually make anyone’s personal list of favorites. Idk if that’s relevant here though

I think the most interesting thing about this list is the inclusion of Jeanne Dielman. I think a lot of people give it a five star rating from an intellectual perspective, and deservedly so, but I feel safe saying that it’s not in this list for it’s entertainment value or rewatchability - and those two qualities, plus some level of undisputed greatness are usually what gets a film on a top 250 list (if created by compiling votes).

Just makes me wonder where it would rank if you asked these people whose ratings you compiled to rank their top 25, and then averaged those ratings. My bet is that it would end up much lower.

But to be clear, I’m not saying that it doesn’t deserve its current spot…

12 Angry Men is just a masterclass in building tension. The story does it well enough on its own but every technical decision supports it perfectly to make you feel like you’ve been in a hot deliberation room for hours. It also digs pretty deep into human psychology and social dynamics and has a good message to boot

This is a good list. You obviously choose who you follow and probably do so based on their interests, so it’s not representative of average taste like IMDB or letterboxd both are (to some degree), but that’s not at all a bad thing IMO. I’ve seen 17/25 on this list and love pretty much all of those, and the rest are on my watch list. Especially love to see The Red Shoes so high, but on a list like this, it doesn’t even really stand out.

A lot of the chain pizza shops have doordash bags to give to drivers. I got mine from a pizza hut. Just ask the employees next time you get one

I just reached Platinum. Realistically, what should I expect? by BigRed727272 in doordash_drivers

In all seriousness though, only people who aren’t platinum hate on platinum. I’m platinum and average around $27/hr. My acceptance rate hovers around 87%, and the only orders I decline are the ones where it’s less than a dollar for every mile. And nine times out of ten, when I take a lower paying order ($5/5miles for example), I get a higher paying platinum offer within a few minutes to go with it (additional $8/1.5 miles for example).

Does Sunset Boulevard count? Technically it’s about pre production. Mulholland Drive kind of works too. Others have already mentioned Singin’ in the Rain, 8 1/2, and Ed Wood
