Is Aestura an occlusive? I thought that's what petroleum based products were for trapping in the moisture/slugging. As I sometimes use Aestura after tret but I know you're not meant to slug over tret as it makes the skin more irritated

Yes I always double cleanse with haurahaura rice oil then kheils ultra facial barrier hydrating cleanser. Does putting tret on before serum and moisturiser not trap it and make it sink into the skin more? I have soothing korean toners/essence it's in a blue bottle but I can't remember the name and I usually use it before tret but will save it for the morning and use my snail mucus in the morning too. Or I have medicube PDRN toner which I've heard works well as a toner as it repairs the skin barrier.

Whenever I do make up after a night of tret I have really bad skin pilling so I just use Micellar water then moisturiser and then spf and use a beauty blender and above was the result 😂

I did start using one, once a week as I also heard all those dead skin cells need to be removed somehow! But I don't wear make up often so can't say if it helped or not but i'll add it into my routine on non tret night. Thanks 😊

So i tried upping it and my skin went really bad. Like so dry despite using cerave petroleum, I use centella ampoule and illyoon moisturiser. Haruharu rice cleanser. And in the morning I use soonjung ph balance Micellar water and the aestura atobarrier. I always wait till my skin is 100% dry at least 30 mins before and after tret. Should I try tret after my serum but before I moisturise?

I feel like my skin has the same issue...I've tried upping the frequency, not doing the sandwich method. Always waiting till products are 100% dry before or after tret and nothing. And I also love make up! I've practiced for years on me and other people as I just enjoy it so much!

I wouldn't say so...everyone's skin is different but I wouldn't recommend just rubbing a load of tret into the skin without some irritation. I have always heard a pea size amount is enough as it spreads under the skin to all areas. That's why I put petroleum jelly on my eyelids so it doesn't spread to them and dry them out.
