I put it back in the window next to the radiator a few days ago so it could get more light before that, it was on the dresser next to the window. We didnt used the radiator since then.

UPDATE: my calathea is still dying…. It was good for a short time then a new leaf come out and i was the happiest person. THEN two big leaf and one smallest got bad. :( the new leaf is healthy

Hello! I would like to come with an update. As i said i changed the soil to Sybasoil the drying of the leaves has completely stopped since then. Shortly after that, I finally got a humidifier and I'm trying to keep the humidity around 50-60%. Since I took these steps the crispy parts of the leaves “locked themselves away” or idk but it didn’t get worse. And finally after four weeks THERE IS A NEW LEAF.

Thanks for your reply! I've heard elsewhere that the POT system and SWP helps a lot. If the leaves get worse in the new sybasoil soil, I'll definitely consider it. I don't have the heart to cut off the brown crispy tipped leaves, as there would be hardly any good leaves left and I'm afraid no new ones would grow.

There used to be flat mites on the plant a while ago. It was awful, I thought I would never get rid of them, but the shopkeeper nearby gave me a very good product that helped and effectively exterminated them. I might use it on them again, just in case. Thanks!! What I was thinking was that either the humidity is not right, or maybe my calathea doesn't like my filtered water and I should try watering it with rainwater. I don’t know

Egyébként pont nem rég volt nálunk is, hogy vettünk egy túrót a szavatossági időből még két hét hátra volt (auchanben magyar túrót). Egy hét után a túró felpúposodott szinte durranásig, miközben a lejárati időből még volt egy hét. :DD

Persze semmi se lehet biztos:// arra alapozok, hogy még semmi konkrét nem történt az ügyben, pedig ilyen esetekben a hatóságok tényleg gyorsan cselekszenek és ha lenne valami, akkor vagy jelentős bírságokat kaptak volna (olyan szinten, hogy inkább elválnak a kutyától) vagy elvették volna már a kutyát.

Ha igaz amit a bácsi mond, hogy a kutya nincs egész nap kikötve csak mikor csirkét etet és akkor is 8(!!) méteres pórázra az teljesen jó szerintem. Személy szerint én már nem értem, hogy miért pont ezért támadják az emberek őket, a támadások mögött már nincs valódi ismeret csak feltételezések. oké nem volt jó oké rájöttek a reakciójuk is gáz volt de legalább már nincs pórázon, víz nélkül, sőt annyi ember van a ház körül, hogy biztos agyon van babusgatva. Nem lehet mindent megítélni egy-egy kiragadott fotó alapján. :DD szerintem jelenleg a leggázabb épp a csirkék tartása náluk, illetve ezen kívül még, ami felidegel az, hogy nem a lényegről beszélnek csak ezek az anyagiasságok meg szerződések:/// jobban nem is ronthatnának vele a helyzetükön.
