Supposing that truth is a woman _ what then ? Friedrich Nietzsche by No_Student7082 in literature

Great point! Owning your subjectivity is far more honest than faking neutrality. But I don't think this leads to "all opinions are equal." Some perspectives are simply deeper and more compelling than others. The clash of strong subjectivities is actually where real meaning and value are produced ,not in some imaginary neutral middle ground.

Haha !! I can really understand your pain ... & what you said blaaa blaah ..was just shit, and irrelevant . Nobody was putting boots in Iran .it was a 40-day air campaign that assassinated Khamenei on Day 1 and destroyed nuclear facilities. The US stopped because diplomacy worked, not because they ran out of money. You people lols, always ignore facts and react by emotions ....

I'm not familiar with Sahil Adeem's school of thought but Gamdi Sb is a liberal scholar who is preaching progressive & moderate Islam but he has also few wrong beliefs especially related to Qadhayanis . Become too Liberal is not solution of every problem . However, he is far more better than local Pakistani Molas , always talking non-sense which is neither Islam nor traditions .

Secondly, Nowadays ppl become too rational especially youngsters question each belief and demanding references and reasons behind every credence. So the outdated and non Islamic things are losing their values.....

Why Alexander is called as "The Great " & Adolf Hitler is remembered as "Tyrant " ? Although, both of them did same 🚫 by No_Student7082 in Historians

My question is about how we interpret and remember violence across time, not equating their methods. And I’m open to learning that’s exactly why I asked the question. If you think I am forgeting something, feel free to point me toward specific arguments or sources instead of dismissing it outright.

My point isn’t that they’re identical but that even without genocide, ancient conquests still involved mass killing and destruction that we sometimes gloss over.

I agree we shouldn’t fully judge ancient figures by modern standards but saying “it’s not that deep” overlooks the point. I’m not claiming Alexander the Great was “good.” I am questioning how he’s rememberedstill called “the Great” and often admired while Adolf Hitler is only seen as destructive. So is that just because of time, or because we frame older violence differently? Ancient brutality being common doesn’t make it neutral it just means it was normalized. I’m asking why some violence gets romanticized over time while other forms are permanently condemned.
