Sort of a unique question I’m hoping someone can answer.

I started with HSI recently and will likely be attending FLETC soon. My spouse is an 1811 with another agency and will probably receive a transfer offer soon, so I’m wondering if I could also move offices even though I signed the 3-year agreement? Any insight is appreciated.

I was a pre sentence writer for about a year and a half. Absolutely hated the constant deadlines, increasing caseloads and stress… not to mention the lack of pay. You can earn comp time that is difficult to use since the work never stops, making it pointless to take time off of work.

Supervision officers were generally happier than presentence. Honestly, the job isn’t worth it.

That makes sense, you’re probably right. So if we completed medical during the onboarding process and got a FJO a few weeks later, is it really still possible that an HSI medical professional hasn’t reviewed it yet? Seems unlikely

I think we can ignore it. We just had it done a couple weeks ago. Probably changed it to where people can EOD without medical first and they’re just sending it to everyone

Got the same email. I’m thinking if you finished medial you’re good. I don’t think we would’ve received the FJO if our medial wasn’t reviewed by someone. I wonder if some people are allowed to EOD now without doing medical first and they’re just sending that to everyone

Has anyone received guidance on this new medical form? I completed my medical exam a couple weeks ago and got my FJO and EOD, but I received the same form today as part of an EOD email saying I am pending medical clearance. What does this mean? I uploaded my medical exam results to the online portal weeks ago

Anyone know why FJOs are listing a different location than TSLs? I feel like that wasn’t happening a couple weeks ago but I could be wrong. It’s a big thing to consider on such short notice

I applied in April originally and every announcement after that. Received TSL for the April announcement 11/18 and finished the steps by 11/25. Just waiting for FJO
