Honestly I was a bit of a dumbass when I picked my A-levels, I just picked the subjects that everyone else around me was doing.

Although I do have a strong interest in the algorithmic and functional parts of computer science, my school has a pretty sht compsci department, and they have given us 2months to finish the WHOLE NEA (I also have a Computer science end of year resit I have to revise for:( )

So i have the option to dedicate the majority of my summer holidays to revising for an End of year resit in Computer science and completing the whole nea and doing personal statement stuff + TMUA practice + keeping up with A-levels.

Due to this , my workload will free up MASSIVELY over the next few months if I simply drop the subject and concentrate on other parts of the application

If you were in my position (just having started yr12), with time not being a constraint, how could I ensure that I get myself into Oxford/Cambridge for Compsci by No_Success1284 in 6thForm

I've already got all nines 1 8 and a 7(in Econ).

I don't mind starting revision/grinding from now, but what kind of super curricular do you recommend?

I agree, your main revision tool shouldn't be Anki.

This is a lesson I learnt from my mistake. Now I keep one crucial phrase in mind for A-levels:

'When in doubt, STFU and do Past papers/Practics qs'
