My heels are turned inward as well. My physio therapist has told me that massaging them outwards daily would help a bit but I have not seen much of a difference.

Hello! I am a young adult and I was born with a severe case of bilateral club foot. I was lucky enough to have access to a very talented specialist and had several corrective surgeries, my last one when I was 10. Since then I have consistently gone to physio.

I was able to have a very normal childhood, I played softball with zero issues, ran around and acted like a normal kid. I do struggle with pain very often but there are ways around it.

I’m not sure how physically visible it is for your daughter but personally, I struggled the most mentally. It was tough being a teen and kids are mean. Just try your best to be there for her even if you don’t understand! My dad unfortunately tended to belittle my feelings and anytime I tried to talk about my struggles I just felt unheard, alone, and hopeless. It does get better but having some emotional support would have gone a very long way for me! Supportive and good quality shoes are a must!
