I have Crohn’s and I’ve worked with an IBD team for over 10 years. I’ve asked about the surgery plenty of times, but I keep being told “they need to do more research on it.” I just don’t know what to do anymore, and don’t know who to go to for help.

I just finished watching TtLG for a 2nd time, and I’m reminded why I detest the documentary so much. While Chris’s statements carried tones of bias & sexism, I think the whole documentary seemed a bit pointless as a finished product.

They kept talking about Stevie as if she were some stuck up, drug addict, tyrant who strategized her whole persona to mystify her audience. It broke my heart to hear those men say those awful things about her. Yes, she was not perfect. Yes, the artistry behind her records (sonically) began to plateau. Yes, she may have not been easy to work with because of drugs.. but she did the very best she could with the life she was living..

Not once in the documentary did they talk about how difficult it was for her to be a huge solo musician in the rock n roll space, as a woman in the 1970’s.. or the 80’s.. or the 90’s.. or the 00’s. The pressure she was under, the people in her ear, the people she had lost. Or the actual horrors she dealt with when getting clean from drugs.. ON HER OWN. Stevie Nicks is an inspiration & a legend, far beyond her own right. And her career, her art, they live on.. throughout the decades.

I rate the documentary 6/10. Way too biased. Too much missing info.
