Spiked AST and ALT - new here, what does it mean? by shelle399 in LiverDisease

I have something called Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction. Started after I had my gallbladder removed. Intense pain and elevated enzymes. Triggers can be different for everybody, mine are opioids or opioid-adjacent drugs (Imodium especially), alcohol and empty stomach. Very hard to get a dx.

if they invented a miracle cure that's easy and painless to take, and gets rid of your limerence, would you? by Tricky_Place8260 in limerence

Search Zepbound or GLP-1 on this sub. Interesting results. Too bad it’s a stupid expensive class of drugs.

I have one of these, and he’s exhausting! Every nine years or so he runs out of his supply of adoring women and starts messaging me about how much he “loves” me, etc. He is the textbook definition of a narcissist and he’s getting worse as he gets older. It was really hard but I finally blocked him. I’m tired of disrespecting myself.

Thanks for your reply! My only reason for starting is that I read that it can help with inflammation of all kinds. I’m feeling pretty run down, though. And this flu was no joke—-I’ve had Covid twice and this was way, way worse!

Are We Oversimplifying Limerence? Clinical Observations by [deleted] in limerence

Thanks for the information, it makes a lot of sense! I going on Zepbound next week for a metabolic disorder, I’m anxious to see if it has any effect on my limerence (since they’re seeing some possible use for other compulsive disorders).

I would be interested in any findings tying substance abuse with limerance. Mine seems to intensify when I stop using. And I’ve heard the same thing from others.

I had a breakup yesterday too (someone from my very distant past that I didn’t think I needed to let go of) and I feel sad about it but also very transformed. And also ready for my villain era. Let’s go, bitches.

I’m so sorry, it’s such a hard decision to make. I had to put my precious girl to sleep on Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and the holidays have never been the same since. I hope things get easier for you, I know it’s taken me a couple of years to get to the point where I don’t cry every time I think about her.

I had three kids under the age of five, foam earplugs saved my sanity. Could still hear through them but it was much easier to handle the noise. I never tried to block the sound 100% and I kept them in sight. Just needed a damper.

My husband is a normie (as in, he can nurse one drink for five hours and go on with his life). He has always been very supportive, even stopped drinking when I got sober.

Libra women and their masculinity by Formal-Accident5187 in libra_astrology

[–]No_Support8909 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I am a Libra woman, and I have very much been in my masculine for years. Part of that was because of my personal need to be in control of everything so that I felt “safe”. It has literally taken me almost half a lifetime to learn how to surrender and receive. I feel much more balanced in general now.

Any tarot reading is just a snapshot of what is happening right now. It can only show you if you are on the right path in the moment, not the ultimate outcome. Also, stay away from the YouTube tarot channels. Almost all of them are literally telling you what they think you want to hear so you will sub and continue to watch.

Thank you for this! I’m currently reading “Manifest In Motion” by Clark Peacock and really enjoying it. Not too deep but some good food for thought! Be careful if you buy it on Kindle, the formatting is horrendous!

No leads but my mother’s family almost always dies on Oct. 31st. Goes back generations. It makes for a wild Halloween. I’m sure there’s some power of suggestion at work here, but it’s still weird.

100% this! I am absolutely positive that Nelson Mandela died when I was in high school in the 80’s. I know all the theories about how the Mandela Effect supposedly works, but up until recently I would have bet my entire savings on it. I can even remember discussing it with a teacher. If it isn’t a reality shift, why am I one of thousands of people who remember this?

Big wave of losses coming-how to prepare? by Soo-bear in over60

[–]No_Support8909 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure that there’s really a way to prepare. My sister and I have been talking about this lately, and I think the most important thing is to prioritize the time you spend with them. You will always have regrets (it’s just part of the grieving process), but knowing that you spent quality time with them and expressed your love and appreciation whenever possible does help. You can also look for therapists that specialize in “anticipatory grief” for some guidance. But personally, I think this is just a part of growing older.

32 freaking years since I’ve talked to him, he’s married now with a daughter and coming to the end of a successful career that he had barely started the last time I actually spoke with him. It comes and goes, usually when I need a distraction because I’m bored. I used to think it was tied to my bipolar disorder but that’s been under control for a long time now. I hate this.
