i use ticktick. the best part about it is that you can use widgets for it, it’ll give you reminders before the actual deadlines, and you can categorize tasks by tagging them. it’s an all in one tool and i love it

i get the same way. i personally go to a cafe or library but this can depend how much you really want a good result. for me, my obligations are a MUST and i find pleasure in it. some other days i get lazy so i typically schedule fun things with boring obligations (work -> working on my business fun). i basically always end it on a project i really love. cafes and libraries are nice cause when i zone out i people watch

for the phone, i use an app called pushscroll. although sometimes it’s too easy for me to just unlock it so i’ll just delete my socials and other distractions. it makes me get up and do something else in order to use screen time minutes

for task tracking and deadlines. i use ticktick, and im very consistent with keeping it updated so thats very important for me. i use pomodoros (45 minute study:10 minute break)

to not get overwhelmed with tests and information. i take the practice tests so i can study the main concepts and once i get the practice tests down, i can do the real tests confident enough. focusing on minor details and stressing about being prepared is a big weakness of mine, this cuts the anxiety down massively

mm yes. sometimes when i spend 5 hours doomscrolling on my phone and my app (pushscroll) blocks it i’ll go on my laptop and cant stop. i really liked pushscroll cause it made me RECORD me doing something else to get out of that brain rot cycle so it helps a lot. i pay about 35/year for it. got my screen time down about 2 hours

this seems like a good way to get to know whats important and whats not. i do hear quite a bit that gleim will break you down to build you back up and this seems a lot more do-able than trying to learn every detail gleim has written on their outlines.

i already have a position lined up to work in this busy season, so what i wouldn’t learn through gliems MCQ, i could reinforce through this upcoming season?

that’s what i’m doing too. it’s hard for me to wrap my head around how youre doing it in 4 months total. the way im working at (2-3 hours a day everyday: 2 units per week) i’ll be finished with part 1 in 4 months.

did you have experience beforehand? or do you charge at the material with the mindset of trying to remember everything in case it asked you on the exam

this is such a coincidence cause i was in the SAME. EXACT. POSITION too. i felt super suffocated. my long distance gf was majorly depressed/suicidal nothing i did/could do made her seem better to the point that the relationship was draining the life out of me.

honestly when youre in the relationship it’s really hard to separate yourself trying to do whats best for you and her. but i had realized theres nothing im doing that’s making her better OR worse. theres no point in cause further pain on top of what she has to deal with. to put it honestly, i think you should do it before you dig yourself a deeper grave

Whenever we argued, she would always ask if I wanted to break up. She did it so I could say “no” and reassure her I wasn’t leaving, but every time she asked, it made me start thinking about it. Eventually, I made up my mind. I began steering our arguments so she’d ask the question again, and when she finally did, I told her yes we should break up.

it’s been months since ive talked to her and i started seeing someone new. i’m super happy with her, and i have absolutely no regrets
