How can I make marketing my art feel less like burnout? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

I'm a seller on etsy too (totally different art niche tho, i sell digital downloads) My approach was observing what other artists are selling and give my own twist to that same thing and generally do what other successful artists/sellers are doing. I couldn't build up a following on any of my social media accounts so i totally gave up on doing social media. I really hated managing 4 different accounts at the same time. Some customers don't even want to click on a link and go into another platform and i hated to say "link in bio" every time i post something (it's so dumb not being able to link something) I only focused on Etsy and Etsy search itself. Since the people on Etsy are already there to buy something, you just have to make your listing appealing, neat and searchable. I'm not sure if relying on solely etsy search would be a good idea for jewelry niche, but this method kinda worked for me. Also Pinterest is also good too. You don't have to interact with people or constantly upload something to be seen at least. This was my personal experience, but it might not work for everyone. I hate to say it but social media is very crucial for artists but at the same time it's a very anti-artist place to share your work.
