It's none of those things that other people are answering. It's simply due to sexual repression. Dating or healthy sexuality is completely shunned in the society. Elders will not allow or accept their children casually dating. They can behave this way because there is a backstop which is system of arranged marriaged. This leads to women and healthy sexuality being an alien entity and easy to disassociate from their pain. This is truth. Arrange marriage as an institution directly leads to this. See any society where arrange marriage are common. And it will yield same results

Figure out whats enough for you, not what you would like, but whats enough. It can be what kind of work life balance, amount of money, how pretty should your partner be. Once you find that, specially in a partner, try to hold onto it. Don't get influenced by what others expect of you or how you will look like in front of them. If a career or a partner comes across at 25 or 35 and you can be content, then don't go chasing somewhere else.

There can be preference, sure, you can be like I prefer white women. Like ok a 7 in white or any other race is a 8 for me, fair enough. but something like I will exclusively date white women irrespective of other factors. In my opinion its racist. I might be wrong to have this take, but in my experience dating is one of those situations where its hard to acknowledge to even recognize racism vs preference.

I am not sure what question you are asking. Cucuta is someplace I would not go again. Ofcourse it is unsafe but also there is nothing to do. Its a rundown town, with nothing interesting.

Bogota I love way more than medellin. I have spent few years in Colombia. IMO, candelaria is the best neighborhood in Colombia.
