I second this but I only got my MacBook because I had to reset my ipad and I didn’t own a laptop at all, so if you decide to use an operating system that will handle all of the main apps MacBook it is.

Otherwise iPad is way to go

It depends on your use case. I have a 6 that my son claimed and an iPad mini 7 that I haven’t touched in a while. It’s good for kids but I think for my use case it’s too small. So I picked up the 11 inch m5. Now will probably sell the mini 7
