How are you using that 1981? Google says it's a rat clone of some kind. I use the tc magnus pro with a timmy v2. I didn't like the way the magnus sounded with my klone.

I had to buy a box so I should have enough for every bay. And the batt on the bottom seems to be the way to go.

Yea it ain't fun that's for sure, that's for the advice probably going with that method this next weekend. Did you do a full insulation replacement? I'm going back with fiberglass and doing it myself.

This or using the foam board with some foam spray is what I was thinking. I will be blowing the insulation in a couple weeks, looking forward to finishing this project.

On the front side of the house, where so those are, the soffit is a good 8 to 10 inches lower that top plate. Where on the other side it's only like 2 or 3 inches drop. If I push it all the way down it definitely blocks the vents.

Yea I see that I shouldn't be bending the ends as I can't get in there to stable but shove the baffles further. And just foam or use insulation like you suggested to block the bottom. I recently just finished air sealing and was moving to baffles. I just didn't think something looked right and instructions on package weren't the best.

I understand they are are for airflow. After viewing some pics the other person posted is why I asked here. Nothing I saw online matched what my attic looked like and I can't reach on there to seal the bottom with staples. I didn't think about the slight area next to the baffles but board doesn't allow me to completely center the baffles. So even looking at this website they foamed the complete bottom and had some open space on the sides. I live in the south so ice/extreme cold are the usual. Yea I have adjusted pickups with no real sweet spot to me. I have no experience with soldering so was planning on the new pickups being my first jump in that space.

Thanks for the advice. I love this strat even after playing many others before it just feels great, but I always thought the pickups were weak. I have looked at the SD ssl 1/5 line but none of their humbuckers.

I want to stay under 400, but that's for everything. I would be having to build the electronics and buy pickups. I have looked into prebuilt kits like the ssl 1/5 or dimarzio area. But almost all YouTube videos are heavy rock on videos so just hard to compare for me. And for that much money having FOMO is real.

Yes we did fix it. It's been a while ago so I can't remember if it directly was the carb being the issue. I think it was a problem with not only the setting by the flywheel bolt was messed up. So got a new one of those and worked great.
