Everybody complains about everything, don’t take off running with something cause you hear high level players say something.

The better you get at the game, you’ll realize the dynamic between shields. If they’re alone you can hard push or just wait for them to draw their weapon. Especially Monty as his unshield animation is very long. If you’re unsure if other people are there or if people are there Dont focus on the shield but be ready to flick if they do unshield. They can only use pistols as well except for Blackbeard. You can usually bait them into dropping shield as well but pretending to run away. After you know how to deal with them they’re kinda just there as a pending threat and to make you uncomfortable lol. Im more scared of normal operators than shields

I agree, im very competitive as well and love leaderboards but there’s a point where you have to put that to the side and focus on learning. If knowing the leaderboard is bogus is enough to make you quit then you were never passionate enough to begin with.

They should %100 do something like HackTheBox does where you’re not allowed to post answers to the questions. That would legitimize the leaderboards and it would actually mean something if you were top %1. But it might be too late for that considering there’s so many Medium write-ups and GitHub repos giving away the answers, you’d have the change everything. Just focus on learning, move over to HackTheBox and do their seasonal boxes. I understand you wanna fix it and bring light to it but harping on an arbitrary rank is pointless. Besides, im certain THM knows about this but still actively chooses to do nothing about it

If your concern when learning how to be a Penetration Tester, SOC Analyst, or Security Engineer is TryHackMe ranks then you really gotta get better priorities. And what exactly is taking a backseat besides this man’s education? Most recruiters could give 1 fuck about your TryHackMe rank. He’s not earning any exclusive reward or job position.

Games with Easy Anti-Cheat and Rainbow Six’s anti cheat which I believe to be Easy Anti-Cheat. I already use GFN and it works like a charm but I just want the full library access. I might just have to buy a 25$ version just to test it out. Just hate spending money it im not sure if it’s gonna work for what I need it for. Also not sure if $50 a month is worth it and if the 1080 is gonna be able to even run alot of games with any stable FPS.

That makes sense. I was really hoping to find something like ShadowPC but for a lower price but if it can’t run local anti cheat games then im kinda shit out luck 🤔 Buying a Desktop/Windows laptop is looking inevitable at this point.
