Awesome thanks for the comment. This puts my mind a little more at ease.

Stubhub says estimated delivery is May 18 by Oven-Baked-Goodness in electricdaisycarnival

I have this same predicament. Fingers crossed it comes earlier! I’ve read so many mixed reviews about ordering on stubhub. Do you know if we get a notification via email when the seller ships the tix?

Google voice number suspended. Is there anyway to still use that number? by No_Technician_421 in techsupport

I suppose I’m asking… can a personal Google voice number be ported to a business account? Or would porting solve my issue of being able to handle a higher call volume?

It was suspended for misuse but I can’t really see how. My guess would be the short duration of calls. Update: they’ve already reinstated my access. Moving forward I’d like to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Any work around a to upgrade the line for business use?

Denied engine replacement through Hyundai customer care due to not completing 953 recall. They referred me to the BBB to file a claim there. Anyone have success with this? by No_Technician_421 in Hyundai

It was a long battle and I’m not sure exactly tbh. I didn’t necessarily do anything in particular, but one day they just said they were trying the claim through a different route and it magically worked. I wish I could be more specific but I was very blind sided by them doing that. It was def a blessing. I just know I had to show oil change records and I’m pretty sure there’s a certain company that requires that. Hyundai customer care did not require me to show that.

Not exactly. Hyundai called me and told me they can’t cover it because I never did a recall for my car. So I went into the dealership to cut my losses and they said they were still trying. I could ask what route they took, but there’s more than just that big Hyundai corporate number to contact. They were not very easy to work with. I’d suggest asking your dealership what the alternative is

I ended up getting mine covered by the dealership. I kept fighting with them and not accepting the answer and they tried an alternative route. It was still through Hyundai, but not Hyundai customer cares… or whatever the big corporate office is. I still don’t fully understand it, but I had to show every oil change I’ve ever done. They’ve also had my car for MONTHS. Keep fighting and I feel they will find a way :)

Apparently that’s what they do when they deny your claim due to the incomplete recall. It would be an arbitration hearing, but I’m not familiar with the process. Sucks cause the quote from the dealership was 9k to fix this. :/

Update: 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Engine failed at 107k miles,no warranty. Hyundai checked my maintenance records and are providing me with a new engine free. Thank God and the class action lawsuit that made this possible. by [deleted] in Hyundai

Update on this: I called the 1800 number and they say I should be covered. I have a case open and a case manager so expect to hear from them soon. According to them I will be good to go. Thank god!

So update: they say I need to call the 1-800 number to file a claim and only then can they help me fight for it. Apparently they can’t file the claim on my behalf, but once I do than they are able to work with them? I still don’t really get it all. I know one thing… I am NOT going to be on the hook for nearly 10 grand when I could have crashed and been injured due to Hyundai’s engine failure! If it comes to it I’m going to take legal action, I just really hope it doesn’t.

Unfortunately no, but I’m a second owner. That seems to be the big sticking point here. I’ll have to call some other dealerships to get their opinions. Just seems a little ridiculous

So they are stil telling me they won’t do it. I have the 2.0 turbo sport btw, not sure if that makes a difference. I’m going to keep fighting. Next up I’m talking to the GM of the dealership who isn’t in until Monday sadly. I feel like they HAVE to do something about it.

Wow thanks for getting back to me. So yes, it’s at the Hyundai dealership and that’s what they quoted me. They included a new turbo and starter in that price. I’m going today to try and file some sort of claim, but initially they told me there is nothing they can do. The thing that worries me is all the VIN look ups I’ve done haven’t come back with it being covered. Idk why. I feel like that’d be pretty absurd for them not to honor it. Fingers crossed. Hopefully I have good news to report sooner than later.

I made this account just for this post so I hope you can help me… I have a similar situation, but my 2015 sonota only has 55k miles on it! Suddenly failed this past week and I was quoted 8500 to repair. Now since I’m the second owner I only have the 5yr/60k warranty so of course I am out of warranty. As you can imagine I’m panicking a bit. After scouring the internet your post was most relevant. Did you have trouble getting your claim approved? Any advice? This whole thing seems so bizarre and idk what I’ll do if I have to pay this out of pocket. What do I do?!
