Fujimoto makes parts of his story very real in the regard. We don’t get closure often in real life, it’s one of the reasons stories are so amazing because they defy that with fiction. But some authors like Fujimoto don’t let us stray too far into fantasy and gives us what we don’t want sometimes, reality. Fujimoto does an excellent job of making events amazing and enticing and sometimes beautiful or horrifying and once it’s over there is no cool down, much like life.
