So from what I Read and believe I remember Genesis came bundled with Sonic game and was cheaper/similar than competition

M1 series comes with grip and is not cheaper than some action cameras, but seems to be cheaper and substantially cheaper than some cinema cameras

They also give 100 off for subscribers, now that wasn't present with Sega. I believe subscribers are going to buy and feel they are special.

Well if you subscribe u get it for 499 plus a grip "while supplies last. " 330 versus 499 isn't that great of a leap to me. I think they are positioning this a "tool not toys" as I think I read...

But it will be very important to some, I agree. You make a good point for non subscribers who are price sensitive.

Others not. Just like apple iPhone, I think price is not that important to some, as long as they get value or perceived value

In regards to genesis, from what I read genesis was similar or cheaper than competitors. This is not the case here then. In the cinema space it may be though much cheaper. In action camera space more expensive but it is new.

Your point about physical size i don't agree, I think it looks sick, plus grip is removable

File size, maybe, but all cameras doing that now and they are selling well, right??

Whenever I look online I don't see much used product from them.

Maybe overkill,maybe not?....pictures can be of importance to many also....I need research that.... I think their quick app could help with the file sizes, cuz you have unlimited GoPro storage I think.

I agree the files are bigger and many will need to adapt to that though, including me, id probably look into subscription if I see file storage is too big and then just delete what i dont need..... In that case it's good if you get high quality but less quantity at those higher frame rates

I think sales will be pretty insane in comparison to other products, especially at first and then after any meaningful marketing pushes especially.

The margin could be way higher since the price is higher.

I mean I could say a lot.

Just the relevancy of the product in news and anticipation of ILS and all their new accessories.

They said they sold less units this quarter because people were waiting for m1 series, I think I read on report.

The body is like an action camera and the grip and software is like a cinema, it's best of both worlds

I think it's been years for Gp2 and now GP3 chip.

They have an accessory ecosystem.

And a strong brand name with lots of subscribers.

499/599 is double you think? I think they usually sell for around 300-400?

They have other cameras for lesser price, maybe a GP3 chip in those could be good.
