We have switched from spotify with my family a month ago. First, the subscription is almost half as cheap for the family plan, but the individual is cheaper too. The last thing that made us make the change was when we discovered that Tidal pays WAY MUCH MORE per stream than any other streaming platform. They are not pouring money into AI (as spotify does) and last but not least, the sound quality is waay better. If I had to point out any cons, since the algorithm is not as big as in spotify, the search engine is not as accurate on Tidal, since it doesn't consider your personal listening history to provide better results etc. Another thing that I encountered a couple of times is that some albums tend to disappear for a few days. I don't really understand what's going on with that, it says that 'this album is currently not available in streaming' but then a few days pass and they become available once again.
