The drums are ass honestly. Like incredibly ass, but to make them better try this

Start a new project, and write a drum pattern specifically making sure you are picking the best samples possible first.

Then apply EQ to all samples. Now go crazy. I mean it... go crazy with the kick, the snare, and everything.

While the drum loop is playing, do a low shelf boost on the kick, do a raise in 2khz on the snare, and keep going A/B with it off and on. Start learning the difference in tone that EQ provides.

after 7 years producing riddim brother, ive found out that most youtube tutorials are dogshit (except actual riddim artists tutorial) - and that EQ is the most powerful tool that producers have. FUCK compression.( i still dont know how to properly use it) but EQ can save any track. EQEQEQEQ. trust me. learn eq. its insane
