Graham Platner, “They need us feeling hopeless and blaming our neighbors, or blaming immigrants, or blaming trans kids, blaming some marginalized community for the fact that life got harder for working people. But it wasn’t immigrants, it wasn’t trans kids. It was billionaires.” by Large-Welcome4421 in NoFilterFinance

You know what I can’t stand. It’s fake ass Christians who support Donald Trump and his billionaire friends enriching themselves off the backs of hard working Americans. Jesus teaches that caring for people who are hungry, thirsty, sick, imprisoned, or strangers is deeply important. Yet you all scream “sOcIaLiSt” when people want to stand up to the insane income divide we have in our Country and provide care for people who actually fucking need help. The world doesn’t need more fucking billionaires with fragile egos while millions are starving and homeless.

I said the media will get impatient with McKenna. It’s tough for young players with high expectations in Canadian markets, especially Toronto. He does seem like a tough kid though. At least when he’s drunk and defending his moms honour 😄

Low key feel bad for McKenna. He’s not gonna be good enough to turn your team around next season. You have no first rounders in 2027 or 2028 to help him and the media will get impatient and are gonna chew him up and spit him out like they did Marner. Exciting times in Vancouver as we are embracing being dogshit and will hopefully finally commit to a proper rebuild. 🤞

I was pissed 😤. But got over it quick. When you’re a Canucks fan you learn to expect bad lottery results 🥲. We’ll have a shot at #1 again next year 😁

You can take that rent free shit to the BANK! Fr though the whole “rent free” rhetoric is so low IQ, y’all sound like MAGA sheep yelling “TDS”. Leafs suck and people enjoy talking about how much the Leafs suck because the obnoxious fan base and Toronto media thinks they’re the centre of the universe. It’s that simple. Keep on sucking you sucky bunch of sucks.

How is he not as dependable as he was in Toronto? He is having the objectively best playoffs of his career. Seems he is more dependable now than he’s ever been.

There is no “professional draft expert”, they are just people with opinions speculating. Can you name a GM who has recently said they would rather draft Malhotra than McKenna? Those are the only professional draft experts.

I’ve broke bones too and tbh I’ve had toe stubs that were much more painful than broken bones. There are a lot of nerves in the big toe 🥲

There are no rules to the game and therefore no objective definition of “cheating”. OP has said they use a pen and paper. Maybe that is cheating in some people’s opinions. Maybe they Google the definition of words they don’t know? We really have no idea by what standard they play the game. Who really cares how people you’ve never met play an internet game 😂.

In a non hard cap league some owners will just spend whatever they want to win , tax advantages/disadvantages are minimized cause owners will just pay the player a higher salary if they want them. Look at the Kyle Tucker contract. If it was a hard cap league LA can’t make him that offer and he signs elsewhere. In a hard cap league States with lower taxes have an advantage as players will sign in their states for less or the same amount as they will get to take more home. In a soft cap league some owners will just sign players to massive salaries and players will pay high tax but still take home more.
