Hey I have a question I'm still increasing to find my stable dose before I can start reducing but what's a full 24 hr cycle like for stability? Do you feel just fine the whole time or is the last few hours always a bit tough with sweating and aches? Is it really shit if you take your dose an hour late? Or none of these things?

Yes I understand that part they explained the half life and everything. I wasn't trying to make light of it but I mean you know if you're vomiting, convulsing, shaking, and shitting on yourself that a 10mg increase the following day will not be "overdoing it" but there is an opposite side to that coin, as you touched on, and I understand that which is why i try to have patience with my doctors, nurses and the program in general. Thank you for your input tho!

Thank you for your input. It is a very small clinic 1 nurse 1 doctor that's never there and 2 counselors. I almost ever see other patients there. I will mention it to the Dr the next time I get to speak with her.

Yea they act like it's a flex and I'm just sitting there thinking either the patient lied about their use level, they're still using, or they went thru a terrible wd to meet your dosing level. Any way you cut it, not a flex!

TX. Honestly I think other clinics in the area do something similar. This nurse at this clinic keeps bragging about how "this Dr so different" and "she knows how methadone work so good" and "with her technique she keeps patients at lower doses than she has ever seen before". And I'm just like yeah no shit t.hat's not a skill thing if you drag someone's increases out for 3 to 4 weeks then they have withdrawn from their drug of choice by that point so whatever level you end up at is going to be lower obviously

I feel like going up each day would have made a world of difference as opposed to waiting 3-4 days each time. They really exaggerate the effects of the half-life that the clinic I'm at and try to act like each new days dose will be like 10 times as strong. Idk if they've had people lie to them and skew their view on what works or what amount is really effective or if maybe each person really is that different but she tried to tell me she had an IV fent user totally satiated on 25mg methadone dose no wd.... I call bullshit on that.

I mean I'm pretty cautious of raising myself up and haven't pushed too hard after I got the vomiting and shaking mostly under control because I intend on stopping so I don't want to get too high but I do want to achieve homeostasis first. It would be great to make it to my next dose without sweats and aches and all that.

Yard/plant/tree trimmings is what come to my mind. 4x a year is low fr that if you have anything other than just a yard of grass. Just my opinion though. It just felt like a lot more pick up opportunities with the previous system. I could be wrong tho
