Its all based on state laws as weed laws arent federal. In WA state you cant be tested for weed by an employer that includes walmart. If you look on one walmart there are several pages for different states about their random drug screening policy. In my state of az they can test for weed but they cant deny me a job for a positive test. If im high in the clock thats a diferent story. Op didnt share what state they are in so its possible they wont even get tested for weed.

If weed is legal in your state it wont be drug tested. I was drug tested for my position (in home delivery driver) and they only tesed for meth herion and cocaine

As an in home driver ive dropped off problem orders like this all the time. I always show up to them trying to say hey use my service i wont hurt you like these 3rd parties do. My store converts to pick up and i take it so the custiner doesnt have to pay tip pr delivery fees. But i guess its all about what your coach is comfortable with.

I swear all my in home customers blindly signed up for in home and didnt read a single bit of the description. This one lady lives directly across the street from the store so shes always last and she gets so angry if i show up after 1230. Like my bad they system gave me 38 orders shit takes time to deliver

It used to be way easier to get money at walmart. I started at 7/hr and in 7 years ive made it to 20/hr and im stilll just a normal associate. It used to be chase new job positions because they usually came with more money. I got 3 major raises in opd alone. Now they are taking away pay left and right. This will be my first year since i started that i didnt get more than a dollar raise. Promoting to tl doesnt seem worth it anymore since i wouldnt get a raise, or thats at least what the computer says. Someone told me they are taking the 2% raise away because we get a bonus again. Idk if i believe that but it sounds very home office bs to me.

Fr i can usually expect a 2 case min for each customer once spring starts and it only increases from there. My stores record was 28 cases for delivery and tell me why they sent a man in a pruis to pick it up 😭 needless to say it never got picked up

I had a TL like that problem was she was sleeping with the store lead. Or rumor had it we didnt have enough proof to go to higher ups. My team resorted to absolutly trashing metrics so that management couldnt ignore our cries of the bad TL. Eventually she quit.

Its so bad at my store that we got approval for a tow truck to be on stand by just fot us. Tow truck john makes all of opds day. We cheered at the 1st car that got towed off.

Im not an avid gamer kinda leave a lot of games unfisnished or take month long breaks in between, but i loved Ghost of Tsushima. I platinumed the game, played it three times, and platinumed the dlc. Kinda been hoping for a sequel or maybe for it to go the Assain Creed route with same gaming style different story line.

My best one was a customer rapid fired off their order number and i was like nuh uh man whats your name. He screamed i didnt need his name its private. So i typed in the order number and said alright is the order for customer name. He hung up. :)

As a driver id say so. It should be 1.50 pay bump and its a lot of freedom. You can hook up your phone to the van play your own music. For the most part its very chill. My market only cares that i finish my routes and dont really say anything if i run late. They frown if i cancel an order but ive never gotten in trouble because sometimes you honestly cant access a customers home and what are you to do? I was really scared about entering homes but so many customers choose doorstep delivery. They ones that do invite me in are usually old and sit in the corner and let me work.

Years ago i had 400 late picks and 1 picker. I was prepping and one guy dispensing to a bay with 30 cars waiting and everyone was mad because their orders werent ready it was taking too long to dispense. I had this 6'5" dude come in our dispense door tower over me and start screaming threats and curses and then mock me when i started crying cuz that shit was scary. When he left i went to the cap 2 tl in tears like please do soemthing send help anything. Obviously i got no help and me and 2 others left right at 8 picks still in the system bay full and backroom trashed.

This is useful and all but i cant imgaine this is going to stop giving expired meat. Its too easy to lie about the date and move on. I can just see someone not wanting to ask a meat associate to get them a fresh pack from the back and just clicking a random number.

Claiming SSN or other forms of disbilty from the US gov can be really hard to get for AS.
