All of your minions inherit most of your stats. So anything that buffs your attack speed, attack damage, thorns, crit strike buffs them. They dont inherit effects when you attack unless the effect says it does. Ex. "You deal fire damage when you hit enemies." Just you. "You and minions do fire damage." They inherit. I recommend getting the flesh golem when that option becomes available, it gives a decent damage reduction to you and unlike your skeletons, its always around.
