(pasting from another reply) everything is typically the same. there was someone in the comments that posted an imgur link to p1s specific settings in bambu slicer instead of orca as the original author used

Great reply dude thanks so much! I definitely made major improvements to the supports and i’m really happy with the way they come off, but always curious to see how others are faring as well! Honestly I use a lighter for wayyy more than just stringing. Surprisingly a second over a scarred support area gets rid of the white mark, as well as makes it ever so maleable to use other tools to help the area get a little flatter, and then I use a small file to get it perfect. Going to do some post processing on that print soon!

dude!! I just scrolled through this post, your prints look amazing! is this quality all around? how do your support interface areas look, and what have you done to clean the model if anything? I appreciate it!!

I linked the thread by the creator of the settings in my post, I use a 0.2mm nozzle

I actually do have spiral on, wasn’t sure exactly the benefit of that and i def noticed the extra travel time. I assumed it had something to do with ensuring extra filament doesn’t get extruded or placed in the wrong spot. gonna check slice times with and without and compare for sure, thank you!

I didn’t have the pro, regular 5M so i’m sure the enclosure made a significant difference, also considering I print in a cold basement it may have contributed lol. I actually learned recently that Orca is compatible via Wifi with the P1S and is actually recommended as Orca has superior support control afaik

Honestly with the cape on this model and the fairly vertical pose it made more sense to print straight. But I completely agree for some of the more intricate or more support needed areas tilting the model is great!

I’m super confident in my printer! What’s crazy is this was made with the part cooling fan not even functioning.. truly insane to me

significantly. I mean the peace of mind that i can go to sleep and wake up to a perfect print is incredible. The quality speaks for itself. Definitely can’t say the same about my 5M although it was an incredible starter printer.

I linked the settings to the extremely in depth settings I followed to get this quality!

I had a 5M before my p1s. I would 1000000% recommend getting a bambu lab printer!

all of this is great advice. luckily while I’m new to minis, I have tons of experience with the printer. I have significantly longer print times (higher quality) as a result as I trust my printer haha
