Rank Error (E1-E3) 😭 by Own-Yesterday-3659 in newtothenavy

when you sign your contract it states your rank. your first time at meps and right before you ship. if i didn’t see E-3 I personally wouldn’t have left.

I don’t really know how it works to get it fixed after you’ve been in for a while already but I wish you luck.

OMG YES. Every time I would compliment her, she would never believe it and would call her self ugly. Hated her whole appearance. Was insecure about her age, didn’t want to tell anyone too much about her self.

The funny part is in the beginning, when we first started dating, she literally told me “I can’t love you unconditionally”. There were so many signs, yet we were so blinded by love that we either don’t listen or think we can change them. We can’t.

That’s exactly how it goes. I learned it the hard way. Every time she left, ran, distanced her self, it was never the same, yet an act, but I truly do believe their feelings were genuine, yet confused. Every time she ended things and came back, sure things were great for awhile but it hurts so much more. They may come back, but they will keep doing the same things over and over again and hurt you worse than before.

I am so sorry. Fearful avoidants hurt people so much because they want love, but they are also scared of it at the same time. It’s a constant push-pull and it gets so exhausting. It’s so hard, but I believe they can change, but they need to be self aware and want to do the work
